This is fun and I def enjoyed it! However tbh I wish Isagi struggled more with a body thats not up to par with where his mind is, like chigiri not being able to play through the U20 match as he'd not trained as much as he needed when he gave up. Isagi not being able to use metavision in his games nearly as much pre all the physical training of bluelock, not moving as fast as he would like or what he's used to, that sort of thing.
it's a cool theory but the entire reason so much of team z developed to become monsters were because they were in a do or die situations and would actually be done for if they didnt evolve then and there, this just makes them reliant on isagi's skill and doesn't put them in the 'i need to make this play or my future is over' mindset they need. all of team z plateaus and gets eliminated in second selection or heavily struggles
This is great and I'm ready for more Also kinda surprised he didn't go for tokimizu or something instead, since rin awakened differently then the other ppl he worked with(except for barou ig) and tokimizu also has solid potential, so maybe giving rin the sae treatment would work for him best in the momment

If we take the isagi post nel in this scenario, he just straight up becomes the best in blue lock and u20 match would be a breeze through if sae doesn't get serious even if he does isagi would still win and would probably score a hat trick then till he reaches nel then he would shit on kaiser during the barcha match and would take his place in bastard munchen because kaiser isn't developed enough yet in the manshine match he still dominates but kaiser has started catching up to him and ubers match he easily scores many goals and now he would probably have the most goals in nel, the pxg match would still be difficult though.😂

Isagi would know this because after the u20 match thats exactly what happens. 2 by picking up aryu isagi can help find aryu ways to improve his moveset and defensive capablities, which will be highly beneficial in the u20s match. The main reasons why this is important is that isagi more than anyone will know that the only reasons why they won u20s were because sae didnt try and luck. Isagi at this time wouldve interfered too much with team zs skill level at this point to the point that sae may or may not try from the 15 min mark. Besides isagi knowing this win will determine whether the neo egoist league would even occur would definitely try in this match. This leads back to my point about rin. Isagi knows that rin needs to be broken early. I feel like he would play rin again in 4v4 and purposely play on his insecurities on some "if you cant beat me forget about beating sae" or "you use your connection to your brother to place your self on a pedestal when you know your "half-baked/lukewarm"" using "lukewarm" as a psychological trigger. I think the majority will agree that rin would go f***ing beserk, triggering a flowstate reaction or something of that nature. isagi is in the future still better than berserk rin at this point an will still win but in doing so would pick rin now to keep rin in close proximity to himself and in the process piss rin off even more, and when rin gets pissed, he evolves. And before anyone says "how would isagi know to do all that?" isagi knows rin better than anyone else in BL besides isagi is known to insult people using their own insults for added injury. He wouldve also witnessed rins evolution in u20 and identified the trigger. it is also confirmed in the manga that isagis metavison isnt something that just exists in football, hes also naturally just intelligent. so in conclusion this course of action is what isagi would take based on what he knows and is fully in character for him.
