It was my first private English class and my teacher asked me “how I usually spend my weekend” and I said just sleeping and that’s my favourite activity. And she just replied “oh that’s boring”. I didn’t understand her. What’s wrong if I love spend my lime like that🤷🏻♀️ Boring life is not boring.
The most important thing to take from your story and the comments here is to care as little about peoples opinions about how you live your life. Do your thing and let people do theirs.. Be inspired but don't try to impress anyone by copying their ways if it's not really yours.
My life is boring too I cut alot people from my life my life is mostly home usually cleaning cooking it watching a movie or studying . I do drive around sometimes it’s peaceful but lonely but sometimes I think about the drama past people caused me and I rather stay here in my peace
Yesterday, I went for a walk where I live which is on top of a hill. As I was walking back I saw this rare sight of fog completely engulfing the valley below with the surrounding hills barely peaking through. It felt felt surreal and magical, this is what life is about for me
You pretty much summed up my life. I often joke that I am boring, but that's only compared to the unfair social expectations of modern life. What I really am is an introvert and part time hermit. I was once emailed by someone who assumed I wasn't doing much because I hadn't posted on social media. What an intriguing time to be a human. Not all bad, not all good, but certainly intriguing
This video was beautiful. I'm also the same as you, I'm so content going for a walk by myself going nowhere for no reason, just because I get to be outside and see things going on, and it's so much better in my boring world because it's also so much less stress. I appreciate this video so much, thank you. 😊 🙏🏻😊
OMG yes! I’ve only started solo walks this year (before I’d wait for the weekends to go with someone else) and it’s now a daily highlight! A stress free life is so much better than a stressed, busy one :)
I had people call be boring. But then I realized that "boring" is subjective. Some people may think the things I do are boring, and some may think they are fun. Also vice versa I may view certain things as boring, and certain things as fun.
Thank you for this video. Pretty much sums up my life. I spent my entire life trying to fit in, doing the “fun” stuff and pleasing people in hopes of building a real connection. However, over the past year, I’ve consciously sought solitude to figure out who I am and what I truly like. I’ve lost friends in the process and it’s been a difficult, lonely and painful journey, however, I’ve come out the other side a more confident and self assured person. I’ve started to embrace my time alone and I’ve learnt more about myself in a year than I have my entire life. Being alone is frowned upon and seen as weird or anti social in our society but for me, it made me a stronger, confident and self assured person. Consequently, I’ve started to attract people I can resonate and connect with in a meaningful way and this makes all the difficult moments so worth it. Quitting social media helped me cut out the noise and prevented me from getting drawn into other peoples definition of “fun”. Find your fun, and you’ll attract the friends you’ve always desired. I thought I was the only one who felt this way but this video and the comments have made me realise otherwise. Once again, thank you.
Thanks so much for sharing this Archit, I relate to everything you wrote! Alone time also helped me to figure out my meaning of fun/who I am and I’ve also connected with more people since doing that :)
"You're such an old man", "You're so boring". Statements I have heard many a time in my 29 years. And it's taken those 29 years to realise, it's okay to be an old soul, it's okay to be "boring". I could happily walk for hours, with no real destination and just sit with my thoughts. Be in a coffee shop, with some music in the background reading a book or just sitting at home, in front of the fire, watching my favourite show. If that's boring, then so be it, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Beautiful, I couldn't agree more. I'm moving out to the countryside and I know I'll spend hours staring out at open fields. Reading a book, completing a puzzle, growing my own vegetables, cooking, baking. My evenings with a good cup of tea wrapped in a heavy throw, all this and I couldn't be happier!
You are not boring. You are mature and practical. I know people who buy designer clothes, shoes and handbags even when they cannot afford them and post the pictures on Facebook and Instagram. They let the world know that they have gone on vacations. One such person that I know has even had several plastic surgeries (hip reduction, breast reduction, arms and thigh reduction) to look good. Such people either have a low self esteem or they are not happy with themselves and so they behave in this manner. It is vulgar to flaunt the things that you have bought for yourself. It reminds me of Hyacinth Bucket from 'Keeping Up Appearances'.
Thanks Hansa!! It is a strange world we live in where we feel the need to show our “best lives” and I do think you’re right in that it could be related to insecurities/needing validation. Everyone is on their own journey though
This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 6 months ago about self development. Now I have 434 subs and > 100 hours of watch time. So true. This constant chase for the next exciting thing, it's exhausting. This is a great quote by Epictetus: "Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants."
I feel like something happens in all of our lives that causes a switch in mentality, could be a loss of a loved one, a pet, moving house, something that makes us suddenly want to slow life down and not let what we take for granted slip through our fingers. This is opposed to that constant feeling you need to be active socially and professionally for fear of missing out. It's almost like you grow nostalgia for the present knowing that you'll miss it in the future.
Very good video. An important message in this day and age. Once I stared meditating and finding some calm. Sitting in a field with just my breath was all I needed and wanted.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wanting to do things :) I didn’t say in this video that I don’t like doing things. It’s just being clear on what you want to do vs what’s being influenced by external pressures :)
i don't do anything either.... I definitely live a "boring" life. I agree with you about a relationship - I rather have a stable boring relationship with someone than being out here steady going through people. If hustle / Instagram culture is the measuring stick upon which you derive your self-worth, then it's time to pull back the wafer-thin veil that shrouds all things that glitter. The grass is not always greener, and those people are just as flawed as the rest of us. All you need to do is embrace this one simple thought: You're enough!
I can really relate to this video so much being a pretty introverted person. When I'm reading my bible and it's just me and the lord, there's nothing better 😃🙏.
What astrological sign you born? I'm an Taurus and all my life I have loved to be more home than out and lived you could say ''boring'' life, but I just love my home and feel best here. I do love travelling and going to places, but 99% of the times I spend it home. I ask, because Taurus is a sign who just loves home and is a very family centered person. 🙂🏡
I think most people's lives are made of a series of boring events and very few exciting ones. I think what makes life exciting is how you express the events in your life. For example, it can sound very boring if someone just says they when to the beach with a friend. Now if they say they went to the beach with a friend but added more descriptive detail to the story, it would be a lot more interesting to hear. It depends on how you make of the event; not the actual content itself.
That’s very true! But I also think we don’t have to make our lives sound exciting for others either! I love the concept of telling more stories though, stories help us connect :)
Om shanti ✨ Simplicity is ultimate sophistication. Introverts are old souls and it's time to reconnect with our true self spirituality and the Supreme God. #_Brahmakumris murlis 😊 🌌♾️🕉️ G9d bless every soul reading this with peace &contentment 😊✨
I deleted my social media because it's so fake. Everyone isn't on there posting their depressed days in bed, or the stress and fights and sicknesses from overworking that afforded them that dream car or house. It's not an accurate view of reality.
The world has become pretty moronic. People think you have to party 24/7 or you're not really living life. People of 25 or older tell you you're old if your not listening the most recent, premade song on the radio. Older people imitate teenagers as being an adult is a sign you are wrong. I take your boring life over that crap.
No offense intended, however your life as a 'you tune celebrity'. Disqualifies you from saying your life is boring, plus you have a family and a nice home etc..
Thanks so much!! :) I do try to reply to as many as possible but not always realistic for me to! Check my website contact page I have ask me anything section which I’m better at :)

What a strange thing for a teacher to say!
@@AktaWe had classes only for month because her personality made me feel uncomfortable. She just so active and I am too calm.
Your English teacher sounds rude at best, and toxic at worst.
Very judgemental of her. My boss in my job a few years ago asked me if was going out drinking on the weekend and i said no, he called me "sad"

Yeah my life has never been no action/adventure film,no it never has been no matter how hard I tried to find friends and serenity in general..
And that’s ok!! It doesn’t need to be an action film
Yup "grandma" here too in her mid-20s lol
Cheers to that ☕️☕️
Don't use the weekend to escape your life, use it to create the life you want,
Yes!✨
The extraordinary is the ordinary 🎉
✨✨
YOU ARE SO PRETTY
Aw thank you!!
great
🤗
I deleted my social media because it's so fake. Everyone isn't on there posting their depressed days in bed, or the stress and fights and sicknesses from overworking that afforded them that dream car or house. It's not an accurate view of reality.
love ur videos!!! keep it up!! also are u indian?
Thank you 🤗 my grandparents were born in India, my parents in Africa, and I was born in the UK :)
6:34 Your so gorgeous and pretty ❤❤❤
Aww thank you so much 🥹
Nothing boring doing things that are normal
🦄
🐉
I dont see how its boring, its way more fulfilling than my life lol
The world has become pretty moronic. People think you have to party 24/7 or you're not really living life. People of 25 or older tell you you're old if your not listening the most recent, premade song on the radio. Older people imitate teenagers as being an adult is a sign you are wrong.
I take your boring life over that crap.
🙌🏼
I don't live by anyone else's standards, my world is framed by me and me only!! You can't handle my difference? Bye!!!
Boring people make the best partners ;)
There is fullness of joy in Jesus Christ
living a boring life is a privelege. nobody wants to go through major events/hardships in their life.
I agree!! stability is so privileged! we are so blessed to have the simple things
I still have 1 Billion dollards in my bank account .Thanks !
No offense intended, however your life as a 'you tune celebrity'. Disqualifies you from saying your life is boring, plus you have a family and a nice home etc..
Those eyebrows need a channel of their own!
jus say u got no motion
Ur attractive
Drawing * not Droring
