Very well presented and a mature approach. I’ve sat in the home end for a few games and always managed to control myself. Seeing the various clips of today’s trouble I’m glad I did as I fear the guy would have been torn apart if it wasn’t for the actions of the stewards and the police.
Im a Wolves fan and come from a generation when West Brom were the Baggies and not known by some of the names used today. My ideal season would be Wolves to win the premiership with Albion, Villa , Blues and Walsall in the next few places. We beat you all home and away of course.

Good honest appraisal Will. As a Wolves fan (not there) I was surprised that Wolves fans could even get tickets there, not that this would be a problem in any other sports, but some of the 'agitated' fans near the pitch perhaps tells a story and these were grown men, not kids. Personally, a bit disappointed with Wolves approach in the first half but they do tend to 'soak' teams up then come into the game more later, makes them hard to beat.
Baggies exile here. Personally, I thought when you scored the 1st - that was it - never in doubt. The gulf between Premiership and Championship is BIG. One half chance and its in - game over. Agree with your comments on the morons who still think its the 1970's.

I sit in the Halfords Lane, Will - close to 1/2 way line. Difficult to see what was going on from my position but from what I could see, the West Brom fans need to take significant blame for what happened today. Lots of bottle throwing beforehand too. In my section there were lots of unfamiliar faces which I guess was replicated across the stadium. Impeccable behaviour from those around me but lots of other supposed home fans let us down. I thought the Wolves contingent were very well behaved and if there were away fans in the home areas, I think only a tiny few caused issues. A fine is inevitable.
100% certainly was no need for so many Albion fans to get involved. Lads running from the east stand to get involved to put number the one or two wolves fans. Stupid haha
I actually expected to get well stuffed today by three or four at least so taking into account the Wulfs have got more quality all over the pitch and some of our play was pretty good and only lacking a cutting edge in front of goal I don't feel too bad to be honest. Then again I have never had a problem with Wulfs and i don't really subscribe to all the hatred. Much rather direct my venom at the Vile.

Unfortunately it happens, a lot of Wolves & Albion fans work together and the Albion fan couldn’t go to the game, so sold his ticket to a work mate who happened to be a Wolves fan. It happens at other clubs too where they sell tickets to a mate if they can’t go themselves

How many games are changed to 11,45 kick off, Almost every time millwall play Leeds, Middlesbrough, or any other mob with potential trouble, we get about 5 to 6 early kick offs every year. Someone once asked me what time does it kick off at millwall, I said Every 10 minutes usually.

Too many Albion fans that I have seen, have said Wolves fans started it. But they were removed quickly and there was no need for a 38 minute delay. Hello Will, enjoyed your content this weekend as a Wolves fan. Excellent preview and summary of today’s games here. Thought it wasn’t the best game quality wise, but was always nervous, especially first half. You started very well, getting down the sides and a couple of soft headers at our keeper. Clinical finishing decided the game. Shame about the crowd trouble as it’s gonna give the derby game a bad reputation now across the media and would be horrible if in the future away games that our respective fans were prevented from attending. If you’re gonna sit in the home end, then sit on your hands and be respectful and don’t be an idiot. Great summary, and good words about your own club. You modern fans don't really know what crowd trouble is ,I went to football matches back in the 1970s to1992 home and away now that was trouble ,fighting , throwing things ans smashing the place up .Go back to the 1970s and look up wba v Leeds when we tore your fencing down smashed your back wall out of the stand to get out ,ask the older fans what it was like when Leeds came over that was trouble not the plastic bottle throwing of a couple of just running across the pitch making out your hard .so been there done that had the t.shirt !
