Building of a Bushcraft Shelter in the Mountains - overnight - cooking on fire

- During this trip I built a bushcraft shelter in the Dolomites. The logs should turn it into a permanent shelter. Only the moss on the roof and the spruce branches, which serve to protect against wind and rain, need to be replaced from time to time. As the crowning of the final day, I grilled the rib of a beef on an open fire :-) The roof can withstand light rain with ease. It can only be slightly leaky in heavy rain. The seat of the shelter is on a natural 'terrace' in the middle of the forest. There is also a small stream passing by. The ideal place for further overnight stays.
I only use handtools, deadwood and natural materials. No plastic.

wieviel tage hat du das holz für die hütte gesucht und mit der axt zurecht gehauen?
Das Totholz war glücklicherweise ganz in der Nähe. Ohne Filmen hätte ich nur ein paar Tage gebraucht, mit den Dreharbeiten hingegen vergeht etwa die fünffache Zeit:) Aber ich mach es gerne

I use dry trees and others that have been destroyed by wind or snow.

@@wildpeaks6180 I often overnight in the forest, with or without filming. You took a good decision! The wilderness is the only place where you wake up before the sunraise - in best physical condition
