Dude I had the exact same idea as you! I absolutely love Back To The Future and am literally working on such a similar scene to yours, what a coincidence. Can't wait to finish and share my version in a future video. For under 24 hours that's super impressive! So many people doing deloreans haha.
@@Noey145 I mean not using ready to use assets is kinda like working with a hand tied behind your back. You shouldn't really expect yourself to get high quality environments like that unless you use Quxiel megascans which is a godsend to all 3d artists.
@@captainblade115 Exactly, the entire point of assets is to speed up workflows so the focus can shift to creative direction. There's already an entire industry of specialised artists dedicated to producing assets for use, as long as people are still learning and growing skills, there's no need to create everything from scratch.
@@Regoliste I love your tutorials and you really helped me to start learning blender! I also happened to do a back to the future animation as well! I can’t wait to see yours!!!
This was great, but the wheels are off. In your turn you can see them sort of go outside of the body of the car, as if the front and rear axles are not suspended. Suspension go up and down, doesn't offset the wheels.
I basically did the same thing for my submission but in a more stylized, anime-style version. The only difference is that you don't see the fire trails, instead the environment changes from a desert to an snowy ice desert representing the Ice Age. But very cool render of your's especially for just 24 hours.
I think this type of submission is going to account for a lot of the entries, I even thought of doing it too. Great job for just a few hours work, always love watching the final result montages and will keep an eye out for this one.
No way! I did a DeLorean animation as well! I was struggling so much with the fire so I ended up not putting it in, great job with yours though! I have no idea how I’m gonna compete with yours! Hope you make it to the top 100!!!!
how do u replace the reference car/object with ur car model, do u reanimate it or is there a way to do it. or u just parent it to the reference car and hide the reference car
I had the exact same idea! But I completely changed everything in the scene. Different vehicle, different concept and background but still heavily inspired by Back to the Future
No idea this was a thing, i did a BttF animation (on my channel) 2 years ago for my uni project, now i wonder where it would have ranked had i submitted it
man, u r insanely talented I also took part and I am glad that I learned so many new things from this video I hope u make it to the top 100 or even top 1
@@LenzGraphics yeah same for me. I mean there are free riggin tools for cars but none for 2 weheelers sadly. But hey, I learned rigging and inverse kinematics so it had its benefits
Almost any ok pc is valid. It depends on the time you have to render things out but if you have a middle or low end pc you can learn a bunch of optimisation tricks to reduce lag and render time Personally I need a laptop so I use an asus tuf t15 (you can find the specs online) and it's more than enough.
Don’t let my stuff make you feel stupid. I’ve been using blender for more than 3 years. It’s my job to make it look easy. Doing something like this as a first project in unreal is seriously impressive!
Hey man, i don't know if there still is time, as A huuuugge BTTF fan I own a 3d model made by a friend of mine that is 99.9% accurate (which the one u bought is not at all) and I could send it to you for free. The only problem is that you would need to texture it alone, I have the textures but i would be a mess for you to find what goes where. And since I don't participate, I could send you a procedural Flux capacitror animated texture i made + an accurate image sequence of the time jump front wormhole (the wil blue thing in front) that you just have to place in front of the car (it comes directly from the official bttf game). Cheers man and keep it up, really like what you did anyway ;)

"I could only free up one day of my busy schedule to work on this project." "the previous day I spent 6 hours binge watching Back to the Future"
This was genuinely insane for 24 hours. You're such a great artist. Keep it up! 👏😃
Amazing that you did this in one day! Hopefully your entry won’t end up in the pit of despair.
Good job! I hope to see you in the video, but the only thing I would add is birds for realism, movement, scale, and emotional impact.
So cool, I had a very similar Idea to you (back to the future) and I am almost done with my scene, cant wait to see everyone's final render.

This came out FANTASTIC! Nice work! SUBBED!
Got some great tips and pointers for a car animation video I’m working on right now. Thank you very much
Sheeeeesh, nice one
Absolut starkes Video und stark sowas in so einer Zeit zu schaffen.

GREAT lighting, rendering and a tasteful grade. Not overcooked. Just right. Chef's kiss brother, chefs kiss!
Very good work! Amazing you could get that much detail in so little time. I put your entry in a playlist of other entries on my channel. Good luck!

Beautiful, Beautiful work my good sir!
Legend
I also used the graph editor to animate the truck in mine. I timed the front wheels as best I could to the truck motion.
Damn, one days worth of work would not get me there.
Wow I absolutely love this, you have an amazing talent
You did such an amazing job. I really enjoyed this one :)
Bro that alt D trick might’ve just saved my projects omg
Nice and Quick work! Great!

Came out looking amazing! Great job!!
That was absolutely sick! Sub'd immediately.
so beautiful, many respects!
Holy shit, this look so good. Love it!
Nice to see a submission!!
great work. How do you get the derivative of the wheel turn from the car motion?
Super cool
WOW 😲
Nothing to be proud when you don't have anything to create.
You have literally no idea how the 3d industry works.
Yes...no idea...of course...
had a similar idea like allot of other people! mine looks like a fever dream tho

It's really good, but needs some sporadic sparks before traveling to make it perfect
What a nice result!
Let's go, a fellow German! One of the best breakdown I've watched.
Just curious, never spotted you on the Discord^^
Car's vanishing scene is looks really awesome! I hope you win bro! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
You are killing it bro , why aren't you in DC or Marvel ?
If I had his skillset, I'd rather do my own thing rather than working for DC/Marvel and also considering the fact that Marvel overworks their artists.
Amazing work
that looks fckng insane

Hey do you got some tips of how to create and animate things faster than usual.

@@LenzGraphics well I could also use motion tracking per camera or aome animation ai tools but I mean hiw to work productive
Where did you get the rock assets (The small ones that made the floor)?
this challenge is cool
Dont have time in your schedule but have time to watch all the back to the future movies? haha
I watched them while Modeling clash of clans town halls ;)
Nice work! Wish my 3D skills were good enough to enter

The alt+d method still gives me lots of lag, is there something I'm doing wrong?

man... wow
Where did you get the rocks on the sand, and the bigger rocks in the background?
Megascans!
@@LenzGraphics it seems that it's only available for free for unreal engine so what did you do for that.
and then there is me.. took me 2,5 weeks to model and completly rig my motorcycle with working suspension and steering (:

How many gigabytes did it take to load this scene in.
