Shine them shoulders .I am a new blade hand in our county and learing more each day, I have been blading behind a man that has been blading for 30 and learing from you and your videos
That’s good to hear your learning every day always have the drive to keep learn I’ve been operating a blade for 18 years and learn something every day got to have an open mind good luck and feel free to ask any questions thanks for watching!
Thanks Jim and I love it so far have 200 hours on the first one and 80 hours on the second new 150 definitely do an update video when I get more hours on both machines thanks for watching!
So you like to articulate instead of pulling your saddle pin then? Looks better than putting your windrow between your tandems. Or are there still situations where you’d rather pull the pin and board out to pick up shoulders?
In this situation I’d rather articulate do to I’m still up on the road and I don’t have really steep ditches. If I’m doing a complete shoulder pull and the ditches are steep and I can’t put my machine in the ditch that’s when I pull saddle pin and do it that way hope this explains it better thanks for watching!
We don’t have roads like this where I’m from so my question is do you worry about those organics contaminating the gravel to much? All the grass topsoil etc… thanks
So I don’t worry about the organic material contaminating the gravel in lot of the grass will blow away and the little topsoil will kinda glue the gravel back together it’s not as good as clay but it works so that’s my thoughts on it thanks for the question and thanks for watching!
Thanks when I first took over this township there was 5 to 6 inches of curb on each side I’ve used the shoulder disc on it last 4 years and finally getting them to where there supposed to be thanks for watching!
You're lookin well mate. Enjoyed the different perspectives outside the machine too. Catch up with you again soon.
Thanks for watching buddy and sounds good!

You always have such nice looking roads when your done! How fast are you actually going when you do this?
Thanks I appreciate hearing that and I generally go 3 to 5.5 mph speed really depends on conditions. Thanks for watching!

Notice much different between the new Grader and the old ones ??? ( From Canada )
There’s not a huge difference between my old 140m3 and this new 150 love having the new machine to operate.
Love your technique
Happy to hear that thanks for watching!
What did your old grader bring in the sealed bids?
We never got any bids on the old machine so we traded it in it went to our local butler cat dealer in Sioux Falls.
@@graderman140m I should of put in a $100 bid! Damnt. Ha
@@cruch9 lol yeah no kidding unfortunately don’t think they would of accepted that if I remember right we got 215,000 for our old machine on trade
Just a two pass?
Yep just two passing these roads in this township it’s a smaller township with not a lot of traffic thanks for watching!
Nice edges!
