      @@alerthunter742 I really enjoy it. It's a great way to get into mixing tracks. My only criticism is that you can't record the tracks you make (although there's probably software available through Serrato or someone else). I just use it to kill time mixing tracks. Never used it publicly though.

    I own the original Party Mix and it’s insanely useful for the price. But the inclusion of dedicated filter knobs, the ability to use iOS, and yes even the speaker make this very tempting for an amateur such as myself. However, what would be another device in the same bracket that works with Serato Pro AND Djay?

    • @Crossfader
      @Crossfader  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There's quite a lot of Serato controllers that Djay supports. The Pioneer DJ DDJ-SB3, Hercules Impulse 500 and Numark Mixtrack models for example.

    Definitely a great little kids product! The little light show is cute! They should have launched this around Christmas time. Are you gonna go do a festival run at Coachella with this thing? Duh, no. Can you put on a set for a house party or smaller venue, easily! Ya’ll just want to justify the $5k you spent on your setup ten years ago where someone can do that shit with one laptop and a $200 controller nowadays. 😂

    My partner wants to buy my little boy a Vtech Kidi DJ Mixer. It has pre programmed samples and some very questionable techno beats and stuff built in. I'm trying to persuade her to just get a real mixer, obviously so I can get a shot aswell lol. Is this the best around for kids do yous reckon? He is only 4 mind you but have seen some really young kids mixing before. I have let him play the Lil Drum Machine app on my phone and he can make a pretty sick beat, is there any other low end mixers with drum pads built in at all?

      It really depends on the DJ and the goals they want to reach. This controller can be used with Serato DJ Pro if you need to expand the limits of Serato DJ Lite. It's a great little device but one day you might want to look into something with more professional audio connections and more performance pads.

    What a waste of 150 USD. You could take that money and invest toward a real controller like the Numark FX Pro, for starters. I could understand if Numark charged 89.99 USD or something like that since, in essence, it really is just a toy.

      At £89 for the Party Mix MKII, it is cheap! We wouldn't say it feels fragile or inferior in anyway though!
