True, but this is the most consistent route that leads to the most damage in general. Far slashes and guard point in certain combos are more situational and harder to staple onto every corner combo you have.
I have a new video up that shows the optimal routes for much more of Leo's starters and you'll see in certain situations 2S-5H loops and far slash guard point combos based on what starter and situation it is.

I go by the same username on Guilty Gear STRIVE. If you're playing on PC, you should see my name on the list of people with the most number of combos uploaded. I already have several Leo 2S 5H loops on there that you can try and practice.
Yo about the inconsistency of wall splatting, it sometimes has to do with the distance away from the wall. In some case certain hits from a far enough range can allow you to do the wallbounces with 2s 5h loops but once it gets to 214S, the opponent just might not get launched far enough to touch the wall and get splatted.

IM NEW TO GUILTY GEAR AND DONT UNDERSTAND THE INPUTS, BUT I REALLY LIKE THE GAME
