Jesse said he is heavily influenced by old Saosin and Circa Survive, and essentially tried to recreated that sound with them out of the scene. Ghost Atlas is his solo if you like that old Saosin/Secret and Whisper sound.
This is not the most technical song, not even close tbh. This was quite stale and generic compared to House of Glass. Still looking forward to the album, however my expectations were set way too high with House of Glass. Really hoping for more proggy tunes on the album
They said that each song will have its own identity. Snowblood, House of Glass and Divisionary so far have been a testament to that. My most anticipated album of all time.
They did say this one was gonna be more if not THE most single-ish song in the album. Regardless if it’s technical, I don’t think that’s important. This song has really good driving melodies. Not every song has gotta be a riff fest. This is coming from someone who prefers older more techy and riff oriented Erra like off augment and impulse. Sometimes it’s nice to sit back and listen to smooth and sweet arrangement.
@@phantasmagoria9876 i was just referring to his thumbnail calling this song the most technical one so far lmao I never said it has to be techy to be good, i enjoy a lot of music that isn’t techy at all. However things can be simple without sounding generic and having a boring structure.
How did I know what you’d do at the bass section 😂😂😂
Because you know me well!
The singers got his own band Ghost Atlas, absolutely worth checking out
Oh sweet thanks for letting me know!
Can't wait for the new album!
Dude full secret and whisper vibes hey! Also that other dude's comment about Shreddy Krueger is spot on great band

Dude, I'm so happy that someone else knows about Secret and Whisper!!! I didn't even think about how similar the cleans sound to those guys!
What a band!
Yes. I was thinking about Secret and Whispers too. 1:05
need to do the other two erra singles!!!
I was waiting for the bass line aswell, tapping and singing at the same time is awesome
Very cool. I discovered this band a few years ago and I have a couple of their albums. Great to see you getting into those bass lines. Cheers matey.
Having heard this song before the reaction, I knew that baseline was coming. Loved the look on your face!
Awesome stuff!
Such a huge song

I liked it.
I’ve been smashing it since the reaction
