The fact that these guys use reused animations instead of having unique ones is the real issue I think, as well as just being lame as hell. I was expecting them to be throwing those hammerheads around everywhere like doomseekers do with their axes. Instead they use the hellscourge animations, and almost never use their left weapon.
Ca lucked out with this dlc they also got to reuse Rat ogres for the Bloodbeast and probably Scyla. They also got to reuse the Mutalith vortex beast for the Slaughterbrute. I know the tabletop Slaughterbrute was also a reused cast but it still sucks.
tbere is nothing wrong, low model count units will always have a bad fight when run into a unit and get surrounded these test videos are pretty much worthless unless its two units of the same type fighting
It's their numbers for their HP level and performance. Aspiring Champions have far fewer models with a lower HP pool (9600 hp split across 32 models vs 9800 split across 16) and lower WS. They should have their HP increased considerably to match the HP per model of Aspiring Champions and their Weapon Strength boosted by about another 10-15.
Lanchester's laws once again making it hard for lower model count elites to pull out the W, losing even one Wrathmonger is far more painful then losing even 2 or maybe even 3 black orcs
I think there's an issue with units like that where they push too deeply into enemy infantry units and end up getting themselves surrounded, especially against units like Black Orcs that do not have particularily tight formations. I'd be kind of interested in seeing whether they would do better against Swordmasters, simply because Swordmasters have a much tighter formation.
Then what’s their point? Because Khorne literally has plenty of those things. Test them and see for yourself. They aren’t even the best in that role in Khorne’s army.

Suffering Khorne syndrome. Where a Khorne unit is getting its ass beat at the one thing it’s supposed to be good at lmao

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this

@@flacidfrank8410the only animations used from rat ogres are the running and idle animations.
People making shit up just to mald.
A khorne unit losing in melee? Who could've seen this coming.
Tzeentch
When i first saw this unit, i thought "these guys are gonna be the strongest infantry in the game". How wrong i was.
Why khorne units are always crap in melee?? They should dominate all
Ok, this is getting ridiculous. Wrathmongers are losing to too many units. Something's wrong with them.
Naah Black orcs are just better get rekt lol!
Not enough units.

@@hallo-mt5txthat is not true aspirin champs don’t have this problem
@@hallo-mt5txaspiring champions, the 32-model anti-infantry dwarf slayer guys, and a couple others I’m forgetting about don’t have that problem
I think the problem with wrathmongers is their numbers.

They suffer from the same thing as monstrous infantry. They need to have a chaff unit to soak up some damage.
Lanchester's laws once again making it hard for lower model count elites to pull out the W, losing even one Wrathmonger is far more painful then losing even 2 or maybe even 3 black orcs
War is a numbers game and Wrathmongers do not have the numbers.
I'm curious what would be better, 2 chosen or 1 chosen and 1 wrathmonger since wrathmongers would be better mixed in among other infantry.
CA need to LEARN how to balance.
No here the balance is really well done
Its balanced, only you don't know how to distinguish different roles of units
I almost skipped this video because I thought this would be a stomp for khorne. Clearly, I was very f-ing wrong!

Wrathmongers vs. Doomseekers when?
Wrathmongers have armor while doomseekers are naked, they will get owned
@@lightbringer1237doomseekers have AP and warmongers AP is wanted on them so it evens out
Wrathmongers will take it, but it would be entertaining
People are talking out their ass. These are anti-infantry units. They should decimate Black Orcs. Something is wrong with the game this patch.
Not to mention 1500 vs 1100. These are ROR units vs regular black orcs. Anti-infantry should give them the edge.
Black Orcs still are the most cost efficient melee unit in the game
Why are people complaining wrathmongers are wearing no armor
They don’t need it they’re demon possessed they should be head and shoulders stronger than chosen
That's a lot of damage on both sides, but the Wrathmongers are perfect for softening targets.
Pretty sure you’re supposed to not have them be your frontline units, more like hard-hitting flanking troops.
Then what’s their point? Because Khorne literally has plenty of those things. Test them and see for yourself. They aren’t even the best in that role in Khorne’s army.
How many times are we gonna use this cope
