Native American on a motorcycle. Looked like an Indian on a Indian motorcycle

The photos are stunning, but they make me think of the hardship these people went through and how shamefully they were treated by the government.

Btw, your narration is excellent. You also obviously did a good amount of research to get the details and descriptions accurate.

"Ann", sadly, it wasn't just the American Government, but a MAJORITY of the American Citizenry governed by this Government, who wanted these great people, wiped from the face of the earth. It finally took the Holocaust of the Jewish people, and the almost complete destruction of the offending nation, and its PEOPLE--Germany--to force them to examine the inner evil, that resides in many of us, and to tell that evil, "Be Gone."

Mooie foto’s van prachtige volken. Verdrietig dat in nog geen 100 jaar deze cultuur totaal vernietigd is.

@@aadsneeboer481 literally sold themselves out... Their "chiefs" sold them out for land and position.

Sitting Bull didn't fight at the Battle of the Little Big Horn, but instead remained with the women and children camped a few miles away.

Seems like a common sense for him to do, "Ray"; not every member of the Lakota Federation and their allies that day, were warriors that could take care of themselves and others. There were the weaker ones, that could become victims of Custer's cowardly scattered raiding and execution parties; the weaker ones definitely needed protection. But he definitely extended his expertise in the offensive.
Custer, and his Command, were bullies against the African-American Buffalo Soldiers. He and his wife, virulent antisemites, chafed at the notion of Jews serving in our government and the military, no less than Rabbis and "Papists" serving in the Military Chaplaincies. He viewed Yellowstone, and only visualized vast cities, ranches, farms, logging tracts, and mines occupying those spaces, exclusively occupied by North European-heritaged white Christians.

@@swithinbarclay4797 I agree with everything you say, my friend, and have always believed that Custer died from hubris.

Thank you for sharing the photos. Wish some wore still living the life of the ancestors. We took to much in this case. It wasn't necessary. Thats the part that hurts. Fighting for land is as old as humans. Thats acceptable. Litteral overkill is not. Nothing we can do can't change the past. No one is alive to pay for the deeds.

You DO realise that the photograph of the native americans resting by the side of the train, contains the fierce warrior leader, Geronimo, 1st row bottom, third from the right.

That photo of the Indian on the Indian motorcycle was done for advertising.
I was waiting to see a photo of Chief Red Cloud of the Oglala’s.

Cause the white man killed their people and way of life. The US Army did it, remember manifest destiny? Yeah just a fancy way to say the army killed thousands of native women men and children.

Yeah no dude, have you ever heard of King Leopold the 2nd I think is the one responsible for the Congo genocide. What about Ford motor company and their genocide for rubber? Don't tell me you don't know who Hitler is? Ya know Syria has been taken over by the Islamic state, which is ISIS, THE TALIBAN AND LIKE 60 OTHER TERRORIST GROUPS. Yeah they are killing Kurt's right now by the thousands. More kurds have died from genocide from the Islamic state terrorists than the number of people that have died in Gaza. Not downplaying the genocide of the native Americans but disease killed way more than colonists did. Just please quit spreading lies, it's disrespectful to the Native Americans
