Listening to this interview with Justice Ginsburg is just wonderful - and very inspiring. Notorious RBG Rules!

Notorious RBG is literally such a boss. Y'all should listen to her in court, sparring with lawyers a third her age before dancing to the left and tossing a nasty left hook (translation: a question that completely destabilizes the prosecution/petitioner). The fact that she and Scalia have thoroughly opposite views and actually have an extremely close friendship continues to be awesome :D

You may want to fix the captions. When she talks about the "end of apartheid" it's captioned as "the end of a party."

(John @ KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(John @ KJV) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
(Acts @ KJV) ...Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
(Acts @ KJV) And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...

"Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of." - Ruth Bader

"Ginsburg once said she believed that others' concerns about overpopulation might have influenced the high court's decision in Roe v. Wade. She DID NOT say she personally supported Roe v. Wade because it could help limit the population growth of "undesirable" communities."
Buzz of you with your fake news dude and stop taking quotes without context !

@@sunnesunne4039 She said "that WE dont want to have too many of." ....she didnt say "they".... Hmm, how do you dismiss Ruth's thoughts on lowering the age of consent to 12 years old? What kind of mental gymnastics must you perform in order to protect this sub human waste of space?

      @@PlasmaBurns From RBG herself
"“Emily, you know that that line, which you quoted accurately, was vastly misinterpreted,” [Ginsburg] said. “I was surprised that the court went as far as it did in Roe v. Wade, and I did think that with the Medicaid reimbursement cases down the road that perhaps the court was thinking it did want more women to have access to reproductive choice. At the time, there was a concern about too many people inhabiting our planet. There was an organization called Zero Population Growth.” She continued, “In the press, there were articles about the danger of crowding our planet. So there was at the time of Roe v. Wade considerable concern about overpopulation.”
I won't address your strawman argument regarding your added comment as I do not wish to go down a rabbit hole with you . But I do want to show for the record, in case others come across your "quote " that it is a blatant misrepresentation and fake news.

@@sunnesunne4039 Lies...ALL lies... She was a dirty pedo Jew and was completely aware that Margaret Sanger brought abortion to the USA to kill off the black populations. It had NOTHING to do with womens "reproductive Rights" as women already have "reproductive Rights"... They can reproduce as many times as they want.. CHINA does not have reproductive Rights.. They can only have 1 child... Abortion is about the Right to NOT reproduce via murder....

I think she is a very noble person. Very glad that she is still a Justice, and that she isn't looking to step away yet.

What a lovely, intelligent woman.... don't understand this hate...without her mind the Supreme Court would be so much weaker (the lack of representation for the those sidelined in our society). We all get old, hope I am this USEFUL and alert at the same age.

Yes she was an American icon, but she made a very foolish mistake in not retiring during the Obama administration, now her inability to put country first were stuck with a dangerous justice.

70 year old billionaires who speak at a 4th grade level probably shouldn't inspire confidence, but millions want Trump to be president, so speech patterns probably don't always prove much.

ALL justices should be limited to 10 year terms. I don't care who disagrees. Half the court needs to go. They've outlived their usefulness a loooong time ago.
