- In this reaction we continue our Project Zamzam series with part 3 titled: Surah 02: Al-Baqarah (The Cow) Part 3: Abraham & the children of Israel - سورة البقرة. The second chapter of the Quran, is a profound narrative that emphasizes themes of creation, knowledge, and divine guidance. According to the Quran, Allah creates Adam as the first human and bestows upon him the role of a vicegerent on Earth. Allah teaches Adam the names of all things, showcasing the importance of knowledge and human potential. This act of teaching sets Adam apart from the angels, who are instructed to bow to him in recognition of his unique status. However, Iblis (Satan) refuses to bow, demonstrating his arrogance and disobedience. The story also recounts Adam and his wife being placed in the Garden and their subsequent disobedience by eating from the forbidden tree, influenced by Iblis. This leads to their expulsion from the Garden and descent to Earth, where they are granted mercy and guidance from Allah. This narrative underscores the concepts of human fallibility, repentance, and the continuous opportunity for redemption through divine mercy and guidance.

Belief isn't through just heart. It should be accompanied with limbs and tongue too. And when faith enters heart, it automatically gets apparent through your actions. That is what believe is!
The amazing thing is that every time people challenge the Qur'an, it only strengthens my faith and highlights its superiority, as the Qur'an reveals the fragility of the minds of those who oppose it.

In Islam, true belief involves striving toward Allah, and in turn, Allah will place something in your heart that makes you a true believer. In Islam, you submit first by performing the actions, and Allah will bring about belief-so don't worry.
Al-Hujurat 49:14
The Bedouins said, "We have believed." Say, "You have not yet believed; instead, say, 'We have submitted,' for faith has not yet entered your hearts. And if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not deprive you of your deeds. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."
Islam commands us to exercise reason and think carefully. Faith in Islam is not blind faith. Faith means everything that is settled in the heart and confirmed by actions.

What is belief in Islam? It consists of two parts: one is known only to Allah, so the judgment belongs to Him alone; the other is for believers to assess. The first part pertains to what is in the heart, while the second relates to the visible actions of individuals.
إِنَّ الله لا يَنْظُرُ إِلى أَجْسامِكْم، وَلا إِلى صُوَرِكُمْ، وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وأعْمَالِكُمْ

Belief in Islam is what is settled in your heart and confirmed by your actions like said our prophet peace be upon him
You are unconsciously believing in somethings and all your reasoning is based on these unconscious beliefs.
The main points of this Quran are: “O people! Worship your Lord who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous. He made for you the earth a bed and the sky a roof, and sent down water from the sky and brought forth thereby fruits as a sustenance for you. So do not associate anything with Allah knowingly” (Surah 2, verse 22). Here Allah, after mentioning that He created all these things, said: Such is Allah, your Lord. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.” He is the Most High, the Most Honorable, the Lord of the worlds. I did not create the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me. Indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. He knows your situation and the Day when they will be returned to Him. He will inform them of what they used to do. And Allah is Knowing of all things,

If God shows up saying “I’m Am God, so worship Me,” some will believe Him, but many arrogant will say “You’re not God but Satan or an alien
What good does it to you in the moment? Well, believing will give you the ease in mind, reduce your depression and anxiety.
Also more importantly, giving you certainty in life.
In another way around, unbelieving will give you uncertainly in life. Its as simple as that.
But why would somebody want uncertainty in life? That doesnt make sense.
Oh, believing is more difficult than unbelieving by the way.
By believing, you ll have consequences.
Unbelieving, well, basically you dont bound to anything. You can do anything you want. Anything you desire.
But thats where the uncertainty comes from.
According to oxford dictionary. Belief is "a strong feeling that something/somebody exists or is true; confidence that something/somebody is good or right".
And according to cambridge dictionary. Belief is "the feeling of being certain that something exists or is true"
I think we should have put the word we say according to the meaning of what the general consensus agreed upon on the dictionary.
Otherwise, you are talking the most difficult language on earth, the baby language.

The Israeli forgot because of time and started to make their own course, since ppl were illiterate at that time , so they passed it down by oral and it becomes myths just stories, that's why god sends more prophets to them to remember him.
Arrogance is powerful. No matter what happens, no matter what you have, some will never change their minds. Or at the very not for long. Maybe it seems far fetched, but I honestly can perfectly imagine people seeing the unimagineable and still disbelief. As you said, it's a miracle in itself to be here, islam itself kinda oppose the idea that God should continue sending miracles to people, because they shouldn't need that.
There are many examples in the Quran of God simply telling to people to look at the sky, the sea, the birds, look at yourself. Solomon in islam was gifted the control of both visible and invisible forces, yet the Quran decides to focus on a moment where he's happy that he can undertand ants. The guy controls spirit, but he's happy that he can understand ants
People who are humble will be open to the possibility. People who are arrogant can have the earth given to them, but they wouldn't change their way or recognize their wrongs
But if someone think that they're above everything, then Asthaghfirullah for saying this, but even seeing God himself wouldn't be enough for them . Not trying to get political, but considering the chapter is indeed adressing the children of israel, you would think that a people whose ancestors were massacred by someone claiming to be from a superior race would never do the same to other people. It's unconceivable

New listener.. interesting perspective. Re : Belief - In Islam, "Emaan" (Belief) comes from the root word Amanah- which means : CONFIRMATION. Therefore in Islam , there is no Belief, until we've Checked on the evidences and confirmed that that is the truth. So yeah, no such thing as blind faith in Islam.
Belief is acknowledging something to be true. It could be through your own logical deduction, through accepting certain kinds of evidence, through your senses, etc.
Strong beliefs are those that have good reasons, sound deductive logic, or based on empirical evidence, or a combination of some or all of that.
You got it write ... believe should entails influence in ones actions which is the Islamic perspective on the concept of belief. As we always quotes "Faith abides not in wishes, but dwells in hearts, and (should) be verified by deeds"
For me I was born muslim and had average upbringing and used to have false pride about it but not until I was early 20s when I believe I truly became muslim. At that time, Islam clicked within me when I started looking why we are doing what were doing and I really clearly saw my hypocrite and fake I was which until now I see many fake/ingenious parts of my own human self.
That forced me to re-learn my religion and not take things (ideas/action/beliefs/commands) as it is without sound reasons and evidence.

Why don't you react to the PROPHET SERIES from the channel ISLAMIC INSPIRATION. You'll understand are there really 5000 religions or not. God didn't give us religions rather he gave us a message and that message was conveyed throughout the history. React to the series to understand and navigate where things took wrong turn.

If, for instance, it had been stated that these books were no longer from God or if the Quran had explicitly instructed not to believe in them, it could have created animosity towards those who hold these beliefs.
And also to not reject 100% of those books.
Even though some parts of the scriptures may have been altered, they still contain the word of God, which is why we are told to respect them.
belief is not about agreements , opinions or feelings , but its about reason , because your feelings are just a subjective emotions & its not always accurate , but belief is ( Accepting something to be True , even without evidence , based on rational reasons , regardless if you agree with it or not ) ,, like for example , i believe that my uncle is older than my father , i cant prove it because i didn't check the age in his ID , but i have a valid reasons to accept that he is older , based on how much more wrinkles & white heir my uncle has more than my father .. and that belief could be true , without the need to check his ID as an evidence ( even if i don't like my uncle to be older than my father , yet i accept it to be true for a reason ) .. agreeing to it or not , is not gonna change the fact , i might disagree with the idea of my son becoming a singer , yet i believe he is a singer because i heard him singing in the radio yesterday .. & feelings also is irrelevant in this situation because , like it or not , he is still a singer , denying it has zero effect on what reality is .. the key word here is " Accepting " it to be true , based on the rational reasons around it .. the reality in this life doesn't depend on what people feel like or what they agree on , it could be totally the opposite
Allah says in the Quran, “Have they been created from nothing or are they themselves their own creators?”
‘Nothingness’, i.e. the absence of everything, can’t create something even if you wait for trillions of years. The fact that the universe existed, including the two of you gentlemen, strongly provides the evidence that there must be something that is eternally existing, that is whom we call Allah (god).
You don’t have to see (literally) the things to believe that something exists. You can use your mind to gain the conviction (believe) that there must be the ultimate cause of our universe and hence our existence.
in reality, it only takes "one answer" to your questions to trigger a chain reaction towards the belief in the existence of God and it will make ..tilt! ...in your head.

God creates a child in his mother’s womb. It is not difficult for God to send down food from the sky like rain, spreading it and watering the earth and plants.
That is why belief in Islam is associated with pragmatic steps. You believe that there is only one God, so you don't worship anything other than Him, neither stones, men, nor money. Just believing will not get you salvation in Islam. It is your actual good deeds that will take you to heaven. The rituals and the prayers are meant to help you be a good father, brother, son, neighbour and friend etc. If you are not, the good deeds that one earns from prayers and worship will be used to be pay compensation to the people that one has wronged. And if one's balance is off in the hereafter one might end up in hell. Unlike Christianity, just believing is not your one way ticket to heaven rather in Islam believing in no god but one true God is just a prerequisite.
Proving that guidance belongs only to Allah. Allah chooses the people to whom he will give guidance. Lucky are those who have been given Hidayah by Allah.😌
how can you not believe when you have a living miracle " the Quran" ? these stories from the past, the creation of the universe, the secrets of the human soul , secrets of a happy life and a better hereafter, answers for several important questions.;..... the Creator didn't forget us , miracles happen everyday but it's us the problem sadly we don't see them
Certainly this is not the words of a human being, this is the words of the Lord of the Worlds...Praise be to God who guided us to Islam, and we would not have been guided had God not guided us.

belief is something seems true to you , put it this way if somebody speaks to you truth 99 times out of hundred then at those moments you gonna believe that , this man going to speak the truth for hundredth time too. as your believe is now based on faith too. this is belief and faith mathematically only if you have some common sense you will know it.
It's a different miracle when you ask God to give you something and He responds to you.
Every human believe on something, We Muslims believe on Allah or

I think at that time people believed in magic and some claimed that the prophets were magicians and not the messengers of God.
Why dont you react to adam seeker videos on islam. He has studied and grown up from inside out of this religion and history.
