There is too much smoke at this point. I hope this is step one of a plan to overhaul the Boardwalk and the Golden Kingdom. New flats, food options, and maybe two coasters over the course of the next five to six years. One coaster to fill Green Lantern/Kingda Ka's spots (B&M Giga?) and another one (Launch/Multi-Launch?) to finally fill in that space between the Golden Kingdom and El Toro. I remember driving up to GAdv in 2005 just the ride Ka. Waited three hours in line and got the final ride of the day. Absolutely worth it.

20:22 those are Surveyor markings by a PLS (professional land Surveyor) those marker numbers go into a "collector" and get brought into a computer software program called AutoCAD. As a CAD tech we insert & connect the points as the project continues
It’s so sad that this ride might close. I saw a variety of people saying that park employees told them green lantern is getting the boot and ka is getting an extension and revamp which I hope is right. I am very fortunate that I got to experience this and it’s a shame I won’t be able to possibly forever. Pray that ka gets kept even just for one more year to make it to 20. Also does anyone know if orange markers mean something like demolition, renovation, construction etc?
@@geoinventor3 they're literally just markers. Nothing super crazy. From what I heard it's aid in the process of removing the parachute Tower finally as there are communication lines that run directly to it. That's just hearsay so take that with a grain of salt

Also there are three markers behind ka where a back spike would go and they form a triangle which is how the spike would be made. Fingers crossed. Between Ka 3-4x and Toro 6x I got a concussion and couldn't ride for 3 weeks without pain. No normal headache, oddly, went away as soon as the ride was over, but I was finding even Dark Knight way too forceful.

Orange: Communication, alarm, signal lines, cables, or conduit. Orange marks signify telecommunications lines, such as fiber optics, telephone, or internet cables. And Pink: Temporary survey markings. Pink is used by surveyors to mark legal property boundaries or other survey points.

Sure, it's not proof that Ka is being removed, but they certainly plan to do some digging. There is no color for "knock that thing over there down."

Although white markers may not be good as they mean it's an area to dig, there is knowledge that the comms lines go directly to parachutes and if they need to tear down parachutes I doubt the want to lose their calms as that would be a big No-No in terms of operating safety. I'm still putting my money on them redirecting/moving comms as part of finally tearing down the parachute Tower

I also will go as far to say I don't necessarily think that Green lantern is getting demolished but at the same time it really wouldn't surprise me too much and I'm kind of hoping that it goes and we get something that doesn't suck in its place. I mean hell I'd be fine if they were to just converted to a sit-down coaster because there's nothing wrong with the layout it's just standing doesn't work on that coaster.
