A magic day of great fishing and saving to the little ray great fun and good deeds ......Food looked tasty and very healthy thanks for the cook and eat to chers
You just can’t beat the freshness of catching your dinner that morning along with vegetables picked right from your garden. Nice tip on keeping the lettuce from wilting, I’ll definitely have to try that dressing recipe too! Thanks for sharing Erica! 👍🏻🤩
Just a suggestion, trim the main stalk of the broccoli, then peel off the skin, a carrot type peeler works well, you can eat it raw with your favorite dipping sauce, ranch dressing works well, or you can cut it up and cook it with the florets. YOU'LL FIND THAT it's very tender and tasty!!
Looks delicious! ... You missed some of the best part of a broccoli head. When you have nice thick stalks like those, cut off the tough sides of the stalk and then cut the core into cubes. Soo good!
Enjoyed the video. I am 51. I grew up on ranches in New Mexico. Had I ever walked into the kitchen without a shirt, or wearing a hat, you would not get served. It was really strange to see that LOL. You are living a great life, look forward to seeing more.
Good afternoon Erica Lynn. Lovely garden. Thanks for sharing. I'll bet that blackened sheepshead with that homegrown salad with broccoli is absolutely delicious - especially with homemade salad dressing. . 👍👍😊😊
Always good to see you Erica. Sheepshead are hard to beat. You can cut into the stalk on broccoli. Make a plus sign cut after you cut the main head. About a inch deep.It will spread out and make big side shoots.
Hi Erica great fish and catch cook loved it thanks Hey an idea when you are cleaning the fish can I suggest that as you clean one side of the fish before you take the fillet off turn the fish over and fillet the other side to . Then when you have both sides cleaned down to the bones then it will be easier to clean the skin off. Just a thought and Thanks for a great vid John
Sheephead are super delicious. Go to a bridge with a fiddler crab if that doesn't work, use a shovel to scrape off barnacles and come back the next day.
I love watching her. She seems to really love the outdoors and is knowledgeable with a cool personality. If I were to win the lottery I would buy a boat to live on it and learn things
Hello Erica Lynn. You are self-sufficient and prepared for hard times. I like what you have done in your video. I started preparing too a few years ago. I do have chickens yet, but these egg prices may make me get them sooner than later. Keep up the good work.
Erica, I fished those waters for years before moving away. and also the waters of St Pete. so many memories and good times.......I watch all your videos.
I would like to see more videos like this. Reminds me of fishing when I was younger. From catching to cleaning to cooking...brings back a lot of good memories.
Those are the best tasting fish ( sheepshead ) !! I use to live in Tampa Bay Area when I worked for the NY Yankees & fished for them in the backwaters using crabs for bait & after filleting them & deep frying couldn’t believe how awesome they taste . 👍🎣 thank for sharing
I heard Sheepshead are pretty good to eat ! Love raw Avocado's ! I sprinkle Lawry's Season Salt on them and wait for them to water, then I eat them raw with a spoon ! 😋😋😋
Great video! Loved you releasing the stingray and showing your arowana. Congratulations on 100k subs! Keep up the great work and thanks for keeping us entertained! Peace and love from the UK
You need fresh green beans in a skillet with fresh garlic 🧄 and butter 🧈 and a splash of white wine... you'll see the color change a little bit and their ready
Hello sorry I haven't seen your videos since I started following you show but yes those are some big broclli heads good luck with your future Erica Lynn.see you tomorrow.
I don't know how but your channel got deleted off my phone. But it's great to have you back. I'm also a Big Advicodo fan . This is the first time I've seen your back yard and it's amazing. Happy New Year.
Dang Erica, that Sheep head was beautiful and I totally envy your garden, broccoli a favorite of mine next to cauliflower. I have fenced raised beds but somehow the gophers or squirrels seem to get in. Whole 3'x6' bed of sweet potatoes decimated in two days about a month before harvest. Appreciate you showing cleaning the fish, still waiting to catch one big enough to fillet. Best to you.....
🤠 most definitely you got the greatest set up here, for sure and so true. a nice little garden, a few chickens that lay eggs and a nice lake where you can catch all the fish that you want. Wow, I wish I had a setup like this. If I wasn't living in the 🏙️ City at all, most definitely I would have a setup like this too. Please keep those wonderful videos coming and happy New Years as well
Hey, what's up Lynn I just wanted to let you know that I'm a huge fan of your work and adventures. Thanks for the broad range of captivating entertainment. Wanted to apologize for mentally categorizing you as a city girl gone TH-cam. Lol I just saw your backyard and garden.... Awesome job!!! Country girls rock! 😊🌷🫡
Thank you Erica Lynn. Eating food that you catch, or harvest during during the season...along with home grown vegetables always tastes better. I love the self sustaining lifestyle. Great Video! I'm gonna try that hack with the lettuce, It should work for spinach as well, right?
you got it goin on girl, I am so jealous, nice lil' farm set up.. I need a similar setup but with livestock, maybe a few horses for hunting so forth, horseback hunting is a great way to hunt larger game, (easier to haul out) need an orchard, blueberries, raspberries blackberries, the whole nine..
Let's do a kitchen jam session! I'll bring over some spinach, butter lettuce, Swiss chard and cucumbers, some fresh eggs from my chickens, and a nice chunk of fresh Mahi Mahi. Maybe a couple lobsters.
Found your channel by accident. Must say it's awesome to see a woman into fishing like you are. I totally enjoyed this video. 😊 well done . Will sub for more Davi b from Aussie
Going to be cold again tonight. I live in Citrus County. I've moved all my pineapples, peppers, tomatoes and a guava tree into my garage and Florida room. I have to throw blankets over my dragon fruit since that area can't be moved. The collards, cabbage, onions, carrots and broccoli don't mind the cold. Good luck with the fish and veggies.
Yea you def have subscribabily going for you, lots of it! I would recommend not using circle hook for sheephead as your hook ups will increase a lot using j-hooks, or octopus hooks. That said your awesome and I look forward to seeing a lot more of you videos!

Love the Arowana! I had one years ago in a 75g tank. Be careful they like to jump out. Make sure your lid is weighted down.

After you cut the main broccoli head take off the larger leaves too (chickens love them) this will help produce the broccoli secondaries.
Thanks for the tips!
