Beautiful triggers got a question had lost alot of rare triggerfish for no reason they all died out of nowhere one day they was fine then next morning they was gone my water parameters are good what u think can be the cause of the death there no ick in my tank someone told me that maybe the fake barrels and boats I have foe decorations cause the death because it releases toxic any advise ? I do wanna get more triggers I miss all mines
Sorry to hear that - I find that trigger are really hardy so it’s surprising. In years gone by they are the only fish that survive disease breakouts. If they suddenly died I can only think of an ammonia spike - that is deadly with heavy feeders and wipes them out in hours. Only other thing could be an electrical leak - I’ve had cheap power heads causing electrical shocks in years gone by. Hope you figure it out
@runwiththebulls4360 yea idk what had happened still trying to figure it out because I want triggers again my angels and tangs are the only ones that are doing amazing jusy can't figure out what was the issue with My triggers
Thanks! Yes it’s amazing that they are programmed to recognize it - they eat silversides of the exact same size and shape but never touch the cleaner.

Did they look like they had been fighting each other when they died? What kind of triggers were they? I know the Blue Lines are very aggressive
