Reggae music is very soothing to me. Thank you Frank for this request. These voices are lovely together. Very tragic story. Thanks Harri. Your open mindedness is keeping my musical mind from atrophy. 🌺✌️
One of the greatest African reggaes artist that ever comes out of 🌍.gone too soon but will never forgotten got all his music big fan of his m .rest in peace bro .one your j fans
Dub is the music that ALWAYS feels good to me, no matter my mood or what's going on in life. Has the soothing feel of reggae but then the psychedelic tweaks that my 🧠 is attracted to.
Great reaction. In the mid eighties I took a deep dive into reggae music. Lucky Dube was one of my favs. You should do a reaction to Alpha Blondy. Another great African reggae artist
Sorry but Bob Marley holds that crown. Bob was more commercially and internationally recognise. He's done more for Reggae music. A BIOPIC film just got released.
such a shame to have lost Peter and Lucky Dube. I was so fortunate to hear Tosh at Duke University's Page Auditorium with a full house of approx 1200. Intimate and warm, beautiful acoustics. Lucky Dube had a soaring spirit and musical talent to match. They both inspired people and still do.
One thing that people don't know is that Lucky Dube was a Christian. Was not smoking nor drinking,Was a Priest at Nazareth Baptist Church, popularly known as Shembe in South Africa
Truelly. Dube was a great singer. But you don't become a Christian by not smoking or drinking. Jesus is the was. Lucky said chembe is the way. There is no record of him confessing Jesus as lord and Savior. Rastafarians worship irie Selassie. Which he several times called on. He was a good man unfortunately good I not enough to get you to heaven. However we can not disqualify him coz we don't know what he said to God as he closed his eyes for good
In the East, Hong Kong, we have a title of aovie called House of Tears, There are a lot of similarities but House of Tears is a result of interaction with wicked people which causes misunderstanding so it becomes a house of self-exile but usually such things would pass.
Hey!! I don’t know if you have a specific protocol for requesting song reactions, but can you please do Philadelphia by alt-j? That song means a lot to me is is by far my favourite by that band. Thank you!!! ❤
Lucky dube was one of the first reggae artists I listened to, so much souvenirs and nostalgia listening to him now ❤️

He is the only king of reggae on earth, his messages are plainly clear and formal..

I can still cry over Lucky Dube. Rest in Power to him and the great Peter Tosh 🙏 ❤️💛💚

C'était un prophète
Il chante tellement bien
Que mon esprit est en ébullition
He wrote this about Nelson Mandela
Im still here in the house
of exile
For the love of the nation
He does remind me of Peter more than any one. Really sad the way we lost them. Please play Peter tosh!
Frank - This is my first time seeing Lucky Dube. Thank you for that yet sad story ending. Excellent review, Harri.

@@justinngambi1996Get your point.i said he was a christian based on the fact that he was a priest at a Christian church
I feel sad when ever I listen to his songs, I fact I named my son song after his name.

The lyrics were about our NELSON MANDELA
