As a Buffalo fan and resident, the vibe of having these 2 here were unmatched.
I’m not even an eagles fan but Shady is one of the guys that helped me fall in love with football. Just the way he’d shake and bake his way to the end zone.

Bills fan here. Have his Bills jersey so Yes I’m bias but He is definitely an eagle for life. He was also a joy to watch in Buffalo. He carried the bills offense with defenses stacking the box on him. Future HOF for sure. Without him the drought would have continued a couple more years. Go Bills!

His receiving abilities was as good as his rushing abilities as well. He was a complete player. Perhaps too much dancing in the backfield but a lot of backs that arent power backs do the same.

I’m a bills fan and loved this guy every second in Buffalo. He was a great player, unfortunately after Reid left a lot of people got swept away with it. Shady being one of them bc he was too costly for a team still rebuilding with a new coach. Anytime there was snow on the ground we all knew shady was gonna have a game🤣
I've been a diehard Cowboys fan since 2007, and this man was one of those rivals you just had a love-hate relationship with, in the best way possible. A remarkable talent on the field, and I enjoyed watching him play, no matter where he was in the NFL. However, in my eyes, he will always be a Philadelphia Eagle.
Look through the history of NFL superstars and tell me how many Hall of Famers or All-Pro players stayed with a single franchise their entire career. How many are a Gale Sayers, with careers cut short? How many are an Emmitt Smith, legacy made with one team and patched over to another? How many are a Sean Taylor, tragically gone from the world too soon? I don't know if players like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Demarcus Ware, and countless others will have the same regret that LeSean has here. They spent their prime making a name for themselves and lifting a franchise. They're the Emmitts of the 2000s, but McCoy had a talent and a place he wanted to be. The business just wouldn't allow it, and that is tragic in it's own regard.
Every Eagles fan I know has always respected LeSean McCoy. He's a legend to the Eagles franchise, and I'm glad he retired an Eagle.

There is one memorable Eagle that I can never stop thinking about when I think of the Eagles though. He never won a Superbowl but definitely deserved one. Brian Dawkins is a reminder of why there's so many regulations in place to protect the current generation of players. That guys a monster.
