I mean no harm here but if MY husband will refer to me as "the wife " it really wouldn't go down well. Others may disagree with me, I However finds it very disrespectful.
@@caribbeanducks Again, personally speaking the issue for me is with " The wife" if you had said MY wife ,how much more beautiful that would have sounded. There is a level of deeper intimacy in that . Most women will tell you that the way their husband addresses them go so much deeper than the word itself.
