My sister used to play this song whenever we were praying. I remember in her prayers she used to ask God to heal the pain she is feeling in her body and for God to make her a vessel. A week later she psssed away, i believe she no longer feels the pain anymore. May her soul rest in peace

i felt the same but after trying hard to "hear his voice" as people around me where always I got closed to him and he revealed my purpose and every little step that I have to make. i advice you the same, follow his recommendations and if u don't know them, pray for him to tell u what they are, after that u'll never regret or worry abt something, it was the best decision of my life, and I never felt lost again. wishing u the best of luck
His desire for all of us is to extend His kingdom. To demonstrate His love to the earth. Keep doing that. In the midst of that your heart will break for that specific thing you are called to. It will flow out of you naturally. Ask yourself, what is that one thing people come to me for when they have an issue. Often, our purpose is connected to that thing. People come to you because they see you carry the solution even if you do not see it. Sometimes we do not see it because it is who we are, "nothing special" in our own eyes. Charmie, may I suggest that you pray first, and then write down on a piece of paper, what you like, what comes easy to you, what you have an interest in. Answer the question "if money was not an issue, what would I do with my time?" I did that years ago when asking God "what is my purpose" and that was the beginning of my finding out. It did not happen overnight, but it was the beggining of an amazing process. I have found my purpose, and I am pursuing it daily.
This year has been the most difficult year of my life. Been through the lowest point of my life and I had struggled silently and I almost threw the towel in the air but JESUS sustained me. I was pressed severely so that I can truly move past my ego and pride. I was too terrified of losing control of my life but I yielded and God won my heart. Now, I am in such a better state. I was crushed so God can re-mold me to the form He always wanted me to be. Life now is not about me and my personal goals and dreams but it is for Him, that He uses me until He calls me home.

I guess the lowest low in my life was when my younger brother went to be with the Lord and then a year after that my maternal grandmother. They were the two closest people in my life next to Jesus. It made my relationship with Him deeper than ever. He indeed brought a new wine out of me...and one day I’ll be seeing them again in Heaven with the rest of my family members that went with the Lord.

So often I forget how much I love the idea of control, but it is when I am not in control that God works in me most. These precise words are so powerful because they illustrate the heart of our Creator. The first part says "I yield to You" which is like humbling yourself before the throne of God. This shows the raw power of God that we can't help but fall down on our knees and sing about how awesome He is. The second part says "to Your careful hand" and it makes me think of God cradling me in his hand like an injured bird being ever so delicate. That, or a master artist creating a beautiful instrument being so accurate with measurements and wary of the treasure he is shaping the materials into. The last part says "When I trust You I don't need to understand". I just love that. Returning back to the idea of control, it shows that when we follow Jesus and fully trust in Him, the questions of 'Why are you doing this, Lord?' or 'For what purpose?' become insignificant questions. Especially when you are mesmerized by the grace of God. Anyway, that's my two cents. :)

This is my personal testimony. I used to believe that I was super strong, super smart, capable of taking care of myself, and even though I have always been a believer, my faith in God wasn't as strong as it was in myself. Two years ago I had a serious personal problem with my family, without going into details; at that point, my family was my God, they were the reason I live for, in other words, my "EVERYTHING", but due to the issue with them one day they ALL, everybody abandoned me, over the night... I was left without anything and anyone to talk to. Months passed by, on which I couldn't sleep, lost my appetite and also my will to live. I pretended for a while that I was fine cus I full of pride so I couldn’t admit that this time I wasn’t gonna be able to fix myself…until I couldn't take it any longer. One night when the pain was unbearable, and desperation took over me, finally, I realized that I couldn’t keep living that way, so I started planning how to kill myself, I gave some thoughts to the idea because I wanted to be effective and final, I needed to stop the pain but before I did it I got on my knee, very angry with God, at 3 something am, I screamed to God "IF YOU CARE ABOUT ME, DO SOMETHING, BECAUSE I CAN'T DO THIS ANY LONGER!!!, I AM A GOOD PERSON AND YOU KNOW IT!!! I CAN'T TAKE THIS PAIN ANY LONGER!!! I DON'T WANT THIS LIFE ANY MORE!!, IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING I AM!!! IF YOU SAVE ME I PROMISE I WILL DEDICATE THE REST OF MY LIFE TO YOU!!!” After this, all I remember comes to me like a flashback, I swear, I don't know how I got back to my bed( my last memory was been on my knee by my bed). Later on( I am not sure how long it passed), on this flashback I opened my eyes for a second and my room was full of extraordinary light, so strong I couldn't keep my eyes open, I was on a fetal position on my bed, my room was full of Jesus’s presence(I didn't need to see his face because the love and peace that overcame my body, the feeling that fulfilled my inner being was screaming the existence of Jesus in my bedroom). I woke up at 10:35am as A TOTAL NEW PERSON, I felt like I have lost a heavyweight I was carrying on, I was radiant, hunger, happy and full of hopes and plans for my life... Jesus saved me! he cleansed my spirit from evil desires OVER THE NIGHT! just the way my family forsakes me. I have been wanting to give my testimony for almost 2 years, I guess the Lord decided that today was the day, he is REAL people, he is, and all we have to do is to redeem ourselves to him and ask for help, he is waiting for us to do so, this is mentioned in the Bible on Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” We don't have to suffer alone, Jesus died for us, so we can live an abundant and long life. My feeling towards my family hasn’t changed at all, if anything I love them more than ever, nor I hold any negative feelings against them, I still will give my life for any of them, the only difference now is that I will ask Jesus first if he is ok with this. This song hit me hard. I have expected Jesus to put new wine in a "cleaned up" old wine skin. Listening to this song I can hear the Holy Spirit telling me I need to get rid of that old wine skin so I can accept the New Wine and let Him truly work in my life!

I was in India when I first heard this song. The part where it says “I came here with nothing, & all you have given me” just spoke directly to me and made me realize that everything I have and all that I have possessed cane from GOD.
I remember years ago in one of TD Jakes' teachings. He shared about the olive oil. My memory of what he shared is that we all use the oil for very precious and sacred things not really appreciating or knowing how it came about. It happens that way because the oil itself was produced from a very painful process of breaking crushing and pressing bringing about what is good enough to be called The Anointing. It's amazing. His desire for all of us is to extend His kingdom. To demonstrate His love to the earth. Keep doing that. In the midst of that your heart will break for that specific thing you are called to. It will flow out of you naturally. Ask yourself, what is that one thing people come to me for when they have an issue. Often, our purpose is connected to that thing. People come to you because they see you carry the solution even if you do not see it. Sometimes we do not see it because it is who we are, "nothing special" in our own eyes. Charmie, may I suggest that you pray first, and then write down on a piece of paper, what you like, what comes easy to you, what you have an interest in. Answer the question "if money was not an issue, what would I do with my time?" I did that years ago when asking God "what is my purpose" and that was the beginning of my finding out. It did not happen overnight, but it was the beggining of an amazing process. I have found my purpose, and I am pursuing it daily.
This year has been the most difficult year of my life. Been through the lowest point of my life and I had struggled silently and I almost threw the towel in the air but JESUS sustained me. I was pressed severely so that I can truly move past my ego and pride. I was too terrified of losing control of my life but I yielded and God won my heart. Now, I am in such a better state. I was crushed so God can re-mold me to the form He always wanted me to be. Life now is not about me and my personal goals and dreams but it is for Him, that He uses me until He calls me home.

I had an encounter the Lord has it come to pass.. to know that He is ever present and knows our need..we just have to seek Him first, pray, ask for guidance who would He direct you to...I had a testimony..never knew His presence before sometime between 197-2000 in Taiwan. I went back after more than 20yrs with a requirement that I should not bring so much money but just enough.. I felt scared feeling what I had was not enough.. but there and then having confided to Him MY worries in Prayer.. in Faith, Miracles happened.

I guess the lowest low in my life was when my younger brother went to be with the Lord and then a year after that my maternal grandmother. They were the two closest people in my life next to Jesus. It made my relationship with Him deeper than ever. He indeed brought a new wine out of me...and one day I’ll be seeing them again in Heaven with the rest of my family members that went with the Lord.

Wow. So often I forget how much I love the idea of control, but it is when I am not in control that God works in me most. These precise words are so powerful because they illustrate the heart of our Creator. The first part says "I yield to You" which is like humbling yourself before the throne of God. This shows the raw power of God that we can't help but fall down on our knees and sing about how awesome He is. The second part says "to Your careful hand" and it makes me think of God cradling me in his hand like an injured bird being ever so delicate. That, or a master artist creating a beautiful instrument being so accurate with measurements and wary of the treasure he is shaping the materials into. The last part says "When I trust You I don't need to understand". I just love that. Returning back to the idea of control, it shows that when we follow Jesus and fully trust in Him, the questions of 'Why are you doing this, Lord?' or 'For what purpose?' become insignificant questions. Especially when you are mesmerized by the grace of God. Anyway, that's my two cents. :)

This is my personal testimony.
I used to believe that I was super strong, super smart, capable of taking care of myself, and even though I have always been a believer, my faith in God wasn't as strong as it was in myself.
Two years ago I had a serious personal problem with my family, without going into details; at that point, my family was my God, they were the reason I live for, in other words, my "EVERYTHING", but due to the issue with them one day they ALL, everybody abandoned me, over the night... I was left without anything and anyone to talk to. Months passed by, on which I couldn't sleep, lost my appetite and also my will to live. I pretended for a while that I was fine cus I full of pride so I couldn’t admit that this time I wasn’t gonna be able to fix myself…until I couldn't take it any longer.
One night when the pain was unbearable, and desperation took over me, finally, I realized that I couldn’t keep living that way, so I started planning how to kill myself, I gave some thoughts to the idea because I wanted to be effective and final, I needed to stop the pain but before I did it I got on my knee, very angry with God, at 3 something am, I screamed to God "IF YOU CARE ABOUT ME, DO SOMETHING, BECAUSE I CAN'T DO THIS ANY LONGER!!!, I AM A GOOD PERSON AND YOU KNOW IT!!!
I CAN'T TAKE THIS PAIN ANY LONGER!!! I DON'T WANT THIS LIFE ANY MORE!!, IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING I AM!!!
IF YOU SAVE ME I PROMISE I WILL DEDICATE THE REST OF MY LIFE TO YOU!!!”
After this, all I remember comes to me like a flashback, I swear, I don't know how I got back to my bed( my last memory was been on my knee by my bed). Later on( I am not sure how long it passed), on this flashback I opened my eyes for a second and my room was full of extraordinary light, so strong I couldn't keep my eyes open, I was on a fetal position on my bed, my room was full of Jesus’s presence(I didn't need to see his face because the love and peace that overcame my body, the feeling that fulfilled my inner being was screaming the existence of Jesus in my bedroom). I woke up at 10:35am as A TOTAL NEW PERSON, I felt like I have lost a heavyweight I was carrying on, I was radiant, hunger, happy and full of hopes and plans for my life... Jesus saved me! he cleansed my spirit from evil desires OVER THE NIGHT! just the way my family forsakes me. I have been wanting to give my testimony for almost 2 years, I guess the Lord decided that today was the day, he is REAL people, he is, and all we have to do is to redeem ourselves to him and ask for help, he is waiting for us to do so, this is mentioned in the Bible on Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
We don't have to suffer alone, Jesus died for us, so we can live an abundant and long life.
My feeling towards my family hasn’t changed at all, if anything I love them more than ever, nor I hold any negative feelings against them, I still will give my life for any of them, the only difference now is that I will ask Jesus first if he is ok with this.
To the Lord be the glory!

This song hit me hard. I have expected Jesus to put new wine in a "cleaned up" old wine skin. Listening to this song I can hear the Holy Spirit telling me I need to get rid of that old wine skin so I can accept the New Wine and let Him truly work in my life!

I was in India when I first heard this song. The part where it says “I came here with nothing, & all you have given me” just spoke directly to me and made me realize that everything I have and all that I have possessed cane from GOD.
I remember years ago in one of TD Jakes' teachings. He shared about the olive oil. My memory of what he shared is that we all use the oil for very precious and sacred things not really appreciating or knowing how it came about. It happens that way because the oil itself was produced from a very painful process of breaking crushing and pressing bringing about what is good enough to be called The Anointing. It's amazing. Praise God. After we have received this unction, may we not sell or allow anyone rubbish it because it is priceless. Haleluia.
