Not gonna lie, Dryoid has got to be one of my all-time favorite Mechanical Bakugan. Awesome design, impressive speed and reflexes, and a huge variety of different lightsaber abilities that make him powerful enough to cut down just about anyone in his way. Truly a powerful robo-knight worthy of being both feared and respected. He is just SO badass.

The Mechanical Bakugan were a really interesting concept that opened up a ton of possibilities. Always liked the entire organic-vs-mechanical idea New Vestroia had going for it. Shame they never came back in the later seasons, especially because Dryoid developed outright intelligence which no other mechanical Bakugan showed.
Given how Hydron keeps him in a nice-looking case, it seems he does truly consider Dryoid as his Guardian Bakugan as much as he sees it as a weapon of war and battle.
True. They were used sparingly after that first battle, probably because Hydron thought he didn't need to use anything other that Dryoid's "Murasame Blade"/its trio of Fusion abilities.
@@jackryan8736 The Farbros brawl also shows off some of his non-sword abilities. Gaian Reflector is just straight up broken. That one ability alone makes Dryoid insanely strong, and the Murasame Blade combos are all remarkably versatile and they also take away a lot of G-points. 500, 600 aren't small numbers in Bakugan, hell I think only Helios also has an ability that literally adds 600 G. I'd say that Dryoid overall is in the top 10 strongest Bakugan of all time, and is outright the most powerful Subterra Bakugan ever. The Murasame combos can slash a ton of G power in no time, they also add a ton of power (with Double Caliber outright adding 600 G which no other Bakugan besides Helios has), and also has a really busted shield ability in the form of Gaian Reflector. The only real flaw is Dryoid's starting G level of 700, which is a bit low for a Bakugan as powerful as he is. Even still he'd probably be viable even in Gundalian Invaders and maybe even Mechtanium Surge.

From that you could have Dryoid's consciousness survive the whole ordeal since he's an AI and all, and then Mira would discover that he was actually alive. From there I'd probably have Mira rebuild him (to the post-upgrade specs, with Gaian Reflector and all that good stuff) and you could have an interesting arc about AI consciousness, remorse and past mistakes. And a way to have at least one of the girls brawl regularly. MS was a trite season anyways and given you already have Battle Suits which are explicitly of Vestal make (and with one of them having drones remarkably similar to Macubass' ABSIDS system) it wouldn't be as weird as it was in the show proper.
Definitely my favourite mechanical Bakugan, alongside Boriates that ties him at the top. I think the almost lightsaber-like blade is what makes him cool for me, but overall he looked really badass, and he was very effective.

Not a chance without at least revival Ultra-tier technology. Boriates and Macubass have insane hinges, MAC Spider would actually need to look like like a spider and Farbros would need to be compatible with an Assail suit as it's selling point, to say nothing of the tail fin being a serious case of Alto Brontes disease.

Not me! Sirenoid's relationship with Klaus was always funny and really sweet, never could hate her. Dryoid was also more cool than scary. The metallic orange and brown are a surprisingly great color scheme, and I think he has the best ball form out of all Bakugan.
Not only did this bakugan manage to keep up with helios(something that even drago had trouble with) but it was the only bakugan that came close to beating Barbros(something that took every single character in the show to beat) say what you will about Hudroid during the first half of new vestroia but you have to admit, his rise to power along with Dryoid's cool factor was one of the best moments in the series
say what u want about hydron but he was one hell of a brawler being the one to reach the closest to farbros's full form's power without addons like battle gear or maxus form

Double Caliber has to be my favorite. The music and the way Dryoid moves is awesome. I also think he developed a semi consciousness as he reacts to Hydron’s calls. He could have won against Farbros if he had a formation to match it
Dryoid was definitely built different. He was like the Sephiroth of the second half of New Vestroia, if he appeared, no one was safe, it took a lot to take him down. He even kept his own against FARBROS, who at the time defeated Dragonoid and a powered up Helios MK2 with a little cheating help. Not to mention he actually decently held his own against Dragonoid, Wilda, and Helios, considering he was going up against two of the strongest organic (in Helios's case cyborg) Bakugan to exist, and Wilda's no slouch. If Dryoid actually survived, he probably would've been a decent rival to Dragonoid, maybe even a training partner to Percival and the other resistance bakugan.
