Thank you SO much. I could not figure out why my pin kept slipping. I searched all over for tutorials, but they all were rushed or just showed *styles*, not actually HOW to use the pin
You’re a lifesaver; this video was perfect! After watching for 3 mins I can finally successfully use this pin 🥳
    I really appreciate it

Due to the privilege of getting into elderly years, my fine hair has thinned out a lot. My hair is very soft & even when I had more than I do now, I could put a barrette in & have it literally slide right down my hair & land on the floor. I had my doubts the French pin would work....but it's so cute, I had to try it. I ordered some & WOW, when you put it in the correct way, EVEN in my thin head of fine hair, it holds securely all day long ! I'm so glad. I love to wear my hair up & now, thanks to French pins & some really cute , pretty designs of hair claws, I can wear my hair up w/out damaging it.

I hardly ever wear my hair down and worry about my hair breaking. I could never figure out how these things worked. Thanks so much for such an easy tutorial. I will try this out. Thanks again.
Update: I followed your instructions. My hair is a bit thick and I have a low hairline so it was a little tricky but it worked!!! It really works just the way you showed. I can't believe it. No points for me for style but I'm going to work on it. But I'm here to say it really works!! Thank you so much. The headaches I got from pulling my hair up with scrunchies are a thing of the past. No more hair breaking! You are a genius! ❤

Apologies if you already did this but would love to see bedtime hairstyles that help prevent breakage! I have my hair up a lot because keeping it down takes effort at this point of my life. I have my hair up in a high ponytail for bed, or a bonnet if I style my hair curly.

I loved hair sticks in the 90's and had a hard time finding anything cute once they fell out of fashion as hair accessories. I thought I saw some beautiful wooden turned hair sticks at an art booth a few years ago. They were shawl pins apparently, for knitters to sell to close their works. So it was higher than I wanted to pay, hand-crafted and I could not have afforded a pair lol. Maybe another way to hunt for them though, good luck. You can always use pencils, I'd find tons from the art room in my hair when I was still teaching

@@SleeplessinOC When you lose all your hair and end up bald, you have a tendency to get attached to it when it finally grows back. I wouldn't call it "curtains"as you put it either. It has shape, bounce and lots of curls. I've been told by many people that people pay to have thick, healthy, non-processed hair like mine. I also donate my hair every 2 years because I can unlike a lot of people.
