With the rangefinder you can turn it on by clicking the menu wheel/button twice and click it once to turn it off.
There's also a new firmware update that gives it a full ballistic calculator so it shows a hold over mark on the crosshair and it works awesome 👌

I'm keen to see your findings. The only justification is for night vision, which in SA is pretty much a non-event legally..everything else about it is a major compromise compared to a quality optical scope.

Scope viewing eyepiece's screen IS NOT 4K, so at most is just dated 1K (1080P), correct?
And still does NOT have Bluetooth, correct?
Excellent as always. As it's a US(A) site, any idea for the applicable warranty in sunny Oz?
Perhaps QD rings and swap out with a day scope (something compact like a 2-10x) would be a good longer hunting trip combination. Any thoughts?
You’d have to check their FAQs for warranty stud to confirm, but I’m pretty sure they cover replacement if it fails.
With QDs it would work well, that’s how I ended up setting it up after the review.

Hey boss. I have also been asked to review this scope, i chose the eagle version, what range are you shooting to sight it in? And how far zoomed in were you? 10x? Do you feel like it should have better magnification? I feel like it doesnt have to zoom capability as a 3-9x40 scope. Which as a 2-26x50 should be significantly better. What are your thoughts?
Zeroing at 100m at full zoom. I’d say it zooms to around 20x but being a camera and not an optic the quality isn’t great. Changing the setting can change image quality, for instance at night if you change the frame rate down to 30fps it has a better image than 60 or 120.
@@fhckoutdoors interesting. So with the eagle it only goes to 13x zoom. So I don't get the 20x zoom. I didn't think about frame rate. I'll have to look at that. Thanks

There is no such thing as a 1 Shot Zero, it is physically impossible unless you can shoot a Zero inch/mm group.

With the greatest respect I feel your channel is losing it's way. It is no longer African Budget Pellet Gunner. To me the essence of your channel was the quest for performance and accuracy on a budget. Gone are the days of sub R4K pellet guns and making our own washers or stretching hammer springs.
In SA this is an over R20,000 scope with shipping and VAT. That's a competition level PCP and Vector FFP Scope, Air-Compressor and a years supply of premium pellets..
