Even if singers from countries known to be very Francophile and even French-speaking like Romania are necessarily at an advantage. ^^
So in fact it's probably more remarkable to sing this song well when they come from countries that are not French-speaking like the singer from the USA who we hear first whose interpretation I also find very beautiful.
