Awesome advice, great humor, plus top-notch editing. Did he just put a damn protractor into the picture? Love it. I used to watch more vids of a guy and a marker, but since I found Ryan's channel, I'm hooked. Can't wait to see him roll 2M in the next few months.
Your're gonna break a million subs within the day. Congrats man, you fucking earned those numbers. Your content has been more useful to me than anyone else's on this platform and your high volume training style has become my absolute favorite way to work out, despite the agony it brings.
I used to have a pancake ass which was ridiculous since I carried decent muscle around for a while. But after some fine tuning, Training under the garage and full gym programs for about 4 months now, as well as specifically hitting glutes twice a week, my dumpy has almost tripled in size! I need 2 chairs to sit down now, 1 for each cheek. Honest to god though, this mans advice has changed my life and my entire philosophy on training, Simply the more information from Ryan's channel that i follow, the more new results i can see, which are staggering compared to my lifting progression in the 5 years prior to finding this channel. Congrats on 1M Ryan, you deserve every god damn one.
ALMOST 1 MILLION SUBS!! Well deserved and about time! I can't get enough of your advice and tips on improving our physics and strength! Thank you Ryan!
Great detail in the movement and proper form. Seems like there is a wide range of error with this movement so thank you for spelling it all out very clearly with the footage backing it up. Well done!
Just finished the full gym program. And my whole body was extremely sore for a whole month so yeah it’s definitely a good program. Also getting good results too, definitely going to try the program again for a couple months
Thanks for the videos. I have been struggling but lifting right through a work injury for 4 months torn hip labrum with quad and hamstring tendonitis and fraying, 2 slipped disks L3/L4, L4/L5 it’s been painful I won’t lie and I have put on a bit of weight with diet and severe mental struggles through the injury. Needles next week to help with pain etc. your videos have really helped me get through thank you.
Mr. Ryan H. always produces awesome & entertaining educational fitness videos! I have learned and implemented the knowledge that he has taught and shared in these magnificent videos. A thousand thanks to Mr. Ryan H. Salute!
After doing quads then finishing up with sumos I lost my appetite and my cornbread started coming up. Engagement and isolation are the keys. Thanks for a different perspective. My workouts have officially been sucking!! Get after it.
Ryan appreciate your take. Providing a different angle or prospective is always refreshing. Actually have taken a few of your ideas into my workouts. Thanks again.
Never heard about this from anyone, as everyone use the brige for glues or dont train glutes at all. I've been doing sumo deadlifts every time I do training for Glutes and all I can say that you'll be feeling it for 2 3 days easily. And it feels great that finally someone good as Ryan himself is using the same. Kudos🤘🤘
1 MILLION!! Great job ryan, you’ve helped me so much throughout my body building journey and a million others, you deserve it! Keep up with the great advice and the comedy show haha!
I love this idea of doing Sumos for glutes! I do have a question about regular dead lifts. What is your opinion about doing regular deads with a trap bar? I used to silently judge people who did them like that, but when I actually tried them it felt better. Damn! It seems like it's still doing the same thing without having to tuck my junk to be able to clear it with a bar. I mean... less distraction.
When many bodybuilders and weight lifters do them I'd say they are good. At 61 I do them because of worn out knees and hips from construction my whole life . And less chance of lower back injury and incorrect form.
@@BeGrizzlyStrong Strange, my back lower and upper back is sore the next day after trap bar deadlifts. So I don't where you're getting your information from. Whenever I do squats my upper and lower back aren't sore.
@@freedomring4813 closer to a squat doesn't mean same as a squat old timer. Note that I was speaking of leg activation. As you hold the weight with your hands, all deadlifts will work the traps. There is also more of a hip hinge than with a high bar or front squat so more likely to put some stress on the lower back. Thanks for the question and I'm glad I could further your understanding. It is good you're still hitting the weights and still learning. I hope I'll be able to say the same at your age.
After my first lower back injury dead lifting, with shit form, I've never been the same. Just keep injuring it year after year. Had to quit dead lifts. Can't get low on squats ect. Last injury was just trying to pick up a 90 lb curl bar off the ground. Unless I get surgery I don't think I'll ever be normal. I still kill it 6 days a week with everything I can.. wish I could do these exercises though.
Ryan, Watching in the UK here. Love your work. Please dont roast me, but I would LOVE to hear some tutorials on women lifting weights, tips, opinions etc.
Hey Ryan, not sure if I missed it but have u ever shown a limited equipment garage gym workout. Equiptment would be squat rack, plates, landmine, barbell, bench. No dumbells. If yes, never mind it f no, would be good to see some things you can get done with limited things.
i would say that the best glute exercize is the slightly elevated reverse lunge with forward lean. us dumbells and tell someone to put a plate on your back in the lowest postion( you must lean forward) and hold the positon in 10 to 20 seconds and the doms will be good
This will destroy you, i love it. Imma try. Bulgarian Split squats have been the biggest key for me to grow them glutes, but always down to try something else
I wanna see a before pic of Ryan too see exactly what he's working with Im thinking he played football in high school and that's where he got introduced to weights but are we talking insane genetics? Or is he really just that good at what he does? And of course if he's open to revealing more...is he natural? If the answer is yes... What did he take? How much? How long? And when was the last time...
Yes. Thank you. This is what I need to add to my Ryan modded programs. Since I’ve started following you and taking your advice, the change is very noticeable. Love ya
I got the garage program. There is no need for a gym. I can barely finish the dang thing. I can curl 100lbs but I've been reduced to curling with 20s and even 15s to finish out. The legs I can only do 3 out of the 4 exercises...it's a dang good program. When you see Ryan curling 25s you know you're going to be in a world of pain if you're not bigger than he is.
I’m about to finish the gym program. I love the intensity. Most people use the paper towels in the gym to clean equipment. I use them to clean the sweat off my face. Kind of wondering about strength gains though if I keep doing such extreme high rep work
Is this possible on the planet fitness smith machines?🤔 ill give it a shot but thats all I have to use. Ps, you can still do the sumo's while looking at the bbw's in the mirror.
Congratulations for 1 Million in advance Ryan. You deserve all of it and more. Your sense of humour is impeccable.
Well said!
Not to mention that the advice is top notch
The man is the absolute best!! The only gym guy I'm subbed to!

It would have been beneficial to see you work through a set of these.
Hey man your creative way of modifying and intensifying exercises has been such a game changer for me. Thanks for this video and all the others
Not only did this wreck my glutes but my thighs exploded after doing this. Thank you so much for the information. Your videos are freaking amazing!

I am new to lifting, and I do now understand how to do a sumo lift so much better… and bbw’s too!!
"Get you off that padded toilet seat..." David Goggins would love that quote! LOL
Ryan, you rock!
Love my padded toilet seat
Definitely do this if you need to build your glutes. Not many exercises connect as well as this one does if any
What does he mean by high bar vs low bar??
@@balla2828bar position on your back
Keeping the knees bent a little at the top is an awesome tip for keeping tension on the glutes!

Ryan...you the real mvp...since watching your vids I've managed to both shed those last few pound and increased muscle growth so Cheers 🍻 mate.
I was just watching your video the other day and you were at 996K and not even a couple days later you’re at 1M! Congrats man you deserve it

That was the single best bodmod tutorial I have ever seen. Well done, sir.
1 million subscribers. Well deserved.

Dude you should do a comedy show. I’m laughing on every episode but learning as well!
Good shit! Thanks for the free info!
i used to think sumo deadlifts were pointless. now they're a must do for every leg day
Congratulations for 1 million. You deserved it.🍻🍻
I don't have a pancake ass but if Ryan says I can get a bigger butt doing sumos, imma do them 🤣🤣
I got slice bread ass
Turns those pancake into muffins😜
sumo deadlifts are awful for glutes
"Flexing the shit out of your glutes." Quite possible.
LMAO
😂😂😂
Congratulations on 1M!!!
Loving the whole gym program! Any update on the Push/Pull program?
This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I'm trying to train up lagging muscles and I have a hard time connecting with glutes.
I know. Training makes us say some stuff that would sound pretty funny to the uninitiated. ; )
Well try it because it works 💪
What does he mean by high bar vs low bar??
LOVE YOUR CONTENT BROTHER!!!
I unlocked my si joint doing this. It was stuck for ages. Thanks

More quad, less hamstring. Closer to a squat. Do what works. Easier to learn. That steep learning curve makes the trap bar safer.
When many bodybuilders and weight lifters do them I'd say they are good. At 61 I do them because of worn out knees and hips from construction my whole life . And less chance of lower back injury and incorrect form.

Of course I see this after I did leg day yesterday. I will be giving this one a go next time.
As promised in the last vid... I fucking love you mate
I wonder if I could substitute this with a dumbell? I have a single 140lbs dumbell that I use for concentration curls maybe I can use that.
