I don’t know why Shadowserg is playing a lot of my childhood games, but I am not complaining. If anything, I love it because I get to see how these games finally progress beyond the second levels.

I remember playing a little it as kid in 90s. Then I beat this game only after about like 13 years on psp. I even stopped playing Ys seven for that time. I really liked this game. Music, gameplay, atmosphere.
Interesting that this is literally the only time I've seen someone mention this game in 25 years. Those 25 years ago? There was a CD for the PlayStation full of demos, part of this game included. It was quite the easy sell, but I didn't own a PS.

this was 1 of the underrated PS1 games back in the 90's year that brought *actual voicing* nearly outdo'ing both the Lunar & Grandia series altogether. the cream on the cake topping however was it's playstyle being rushdown & 2 of it's story Bosses *required you to being patient & waiting* (Especially the Tower of Death) 😐
The Ant Queen and Dark Lumina 2nd phase are my pain in the ass boss fights when I was young took me a while to figure there is a pattern how to beat them. I miss this type of games.

The Topo BOSS end of game that mini game I couldn't even WIN the FIRST round making THAT boss fight for myself IMPOSSIBLE and she is NOT the final boss OF the game.

Yeah, that's failed as a sequel to Brave Fencer Muashi. So the sequel disappeared and never saw the light of day ever again.
