After years of listening to this song and playing it live, this karaoke version made me finally realize it's an ELEVEN-BAR blues, not twelve! Always done it as a 12-bar. Duh! Cash did some strange things with timing. Ring of Fire is another one.
Awesome version! Love his 80s stuff...can you do the version from the concert at Folsom Prison live in 68 I believe... Also Rock Island Line, Big River, Get Rhythm, Rusty Cage, Blistered from the 80s-90s would be wonderful...
Love this Version , Totally Awesome, I'm having trouble Getting Waylon Song ,"Wonder what you'll do when I'm Gone" would love it if you would consider doing that One, I appreciate your work Either way
Impossible, unfortunately. Especially with the early stuff there's no chance an instrumental will turn up, so it all has to be DIY with vocal stripping software ... and although that technology is making very exciting progress lately, olde time acoustic guitar and voice is the toughest of them all to convert. It would be awesome if it could all be done, but realistically ... it's a long ways off.
I love how it’s styled like the 1988 version.
i like the 1988 version better then the original

I hear the song every time there's a natural disaster
Hey, if you can, can you do Hey, Porter?
