I like the fence, and we use the high tensile strength electric fences to divide fields. All perimeter fences are woven wire with a strand of electric. A psychological fence is risky near a road. If the charger fails and the cows end up on the road and get hit, you can be held liable. A lady was killed two weeks ago when she hit a cow that got loose down the road from me.
If you move your cows onto fresh pasture daily, they are not looking to get out. We’ve lost power for 4 days and rotated our mob with a cold polybraid wire.
Great looking fence! You all are so hard working; and sounds like Isaac has become a fence building machine! I love the pride and excellence in all that you do. I also heard that the bald eagle being our official bird, was made official. I always thought it was. Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!
Thanks for the video! He sure knows what a straight line looks like. Also helps, if the ground is soft with no big rocks too. We have a few spots on my farm had rocks in the way so it was mostly straight😂!

Hey Greg , If you had a 4 wire perimeter fence , would you make 1 wire ground and 3 hot , or 2 hot / 2 ground? My fence is only covering about 4 acres. Thanks for everything and Happy New Year to the entire crew.
Don't you remember that the bald eagle has always been the national bird.it has been my whole life. In this Mandela affected reality. We just slipped into another alternate. Any body else?
Good morning Greg! Thanks for what you do. Have you ever had any of your posts have fractures where the holes are pre punched? My current pasture is fenced with these and I had a number of posts that had fractures around the holes. Causes the posts to snap off when they get hit rather than bend. I’ve gotten some replacements from timeless, but still is annoying to go out to the pasture and find posts snapped off. Wondering if this is a fluke thing or if you have seen it before as well?
Hello, I had one of my timeless sheer right at ground level, didn’t have it too deep either. But I only had one, and am wondering if it got hit by my neighbors side by side. Anyway, I have had bulls run through another fence with a different composite post and it splintered at ground level too. So… I guess in my case, it’s a maintenance item. With the broken posts, I drive them into the ground deep where I need my fence to follow a dip or drainage , then I connect it to my other post in that part of the fence so it doesn’t lift out. Greg showed me that on his videos.
Straight looking posts! Issac could probably get more fencing with then he wants, advertise and word of mouth. Make some extra cash to buy some heifers.
Gotta do it without the aluminum foil Greg. Your wonderful regenerative beef loses its healthy affect packaged or cooked in that. It’s crazy all the stuff we have always done that we haven’t questioned. Spoken by one of the most habitual aluminum foil user abusers. 🤷♂️👀 And Happy New Year Sir! 😊
Again I can attest to your words about Timeless posts thanks for introducing us to them.

Well, its looking like it may be a nice fence, sure would be nice to see the "how to do it" part.
I hope you're called to testify in front of the US Congress. Along with other pioneers of regenerative agriculture.

Looking good!
do you auger a hole for every post?
That should be your sale pitch when asking to rent or buy land. Take them some of your beef and ask if your cow can graze from there.
Broom sedge and big blue stem look very similar don’t they ? Any tips on how to differentiate the two?
Big Blue gets much taller.
Also turkey foot seed head on big blue
What determines if you add wooden posts to your fence line, and how far apart you space them?

Covers on top post?
Yes those will be put on in the near future.

It's for Sheep 48'' tall FYI
2 hot and 2 grounds
@@gregjudyregenerativerancher thanks
Not sure why the electric wire is going on the exterior of the posts? Seems like a mistake.
I'd give a nickel for a field of broom sedge. I know how to bring it back thanks to Greg Judy.

I’ve never had one sheer off yet, have a ton of them in the ground. I’ve had trees fall on them and they don’t bust off either.
Greg at about 6 minutes you showed a wooden post Jan had put pin lock insulators on. Shouldn’t they be on the other side of the post?
@@eltonmau7412 Why in the world would you put the hot wire behind the post?
