What a magnificent orator. The excitement is truly palatable in Boston Garden. The first five minutes of this clip, I thought that I was hearing Beatlemania! Just amazing! Thanx for the clip.
A truly global iconic, natural leader. At the end of his 8 year presidency he would still have been only 51, with so much to do for the world.....we miss you forever!
What a loving and befitting welcome for one of Boston's own sons and for a President whose grandfather was a past mayor of Boston. Such an enjoyable viewing 👌

The number of people who turned out for JFK in the arena was 20,000, but the Boston police estimated that there were another 100,000 in the streets. It just seems to me that those 20,000 sure are making a lot of noise, demonstrating their excitement for this outstanding candidate.

Well good Marion Harris I was only a couple of years old on November 22nd 1963 So I would n t have any recall of Kennedy But for the most part during the short time he held office I think he did a pretty good job

My great uncle and great aunt met him during this like I mean face to face full blown conversation. My great uncle worked for Bobby Kennedy and when they were in Boston he asked JFK if he would come meet his wife. My great uncle is the guy in the wheel chair on stage when JFK walks off.

CHICAGO -- The 22 children of Elijah Muhammad, the late founder of the Nation of Islam, are entitled to $5.7 million improperly turned over to the current leader of the religion, a judge has ruled. Cook County Circuit Judge Henry Budzinski ended a seven-year court battle with his ruling Thursday that the disputed bank account at the First Pacific Bank of Chicago, now known as Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, was the private property of Muhammad and did not belong to the church of Islam. After Muhammad's death, the Pacific Bank closed his account and transferred the funds into a new account of one of his sons, Wallace Muhammad. The younger Muhammad was later named the new leader of the Islam nation, which is now known as the Muslim American Community. Eight of Elijah Muhammad's 22 children filed suit in 1979, contending the money belonged to their father's estate and not to the religious community. The account totaled $3.3 million when Muhammad died in 1975 and has accrued more than $2 million in interest. Budzinski ruled in favor of the estate in 1982 but the state appellate court asked him to reconsider the case with additional evidence in 1984.

The 22 children of Elijah Muhammad, the late founder...
@@MrZackavelli mr.Muhammad himself said that I defected well in reality I never even left the Muslim movement they put me out and they put me out because of what I knew and what I knew was told to me by mr. stick I could represent it and defend it
but we had a law which meant which means which was that whenever any
Muslim became involved in any kind of
sexual relationship with someone to whom
they weren't married that person would
be brought before the Muslim community
community humiliated and then isolated
for from one to five years this was our law well in 1954 our teenage sister left Detroit and became one of mr. Muhammad's personal secretaries and there in the Chicago office she became pregnant after being there for a year and she was brought
before the Muslim community and
humiliated and isolated and a year a
year later another secretary this time
one from Lansing Michigan came to
Chicago she also became pregnant she was brought before the community and
humiliated and isolated and because the
other person was never brought forth
during this court session it was
concluded by all of mr. Muhammad's
followers that it was a non-muslim who
was the other party well we grew so
rapidly and to that in 1957 or 58 the
secretarial staff was expanded to I
think eight teenage sisters in 1959 six
of them disappeared two of them
reappeared in Philadelphia about two or
three months later and they were all
right the other four reappeared in 1960
all four of them had babies all four of
them had become involved with someone
and become pregnant and had these
children so it was from what I now know
when the four of them got back to
Chicago and begin to compare notes they
found that the same man had told all of
them the same story and had made all of
them pregnant that the same man was the father of all four of their children and
had also been the father of the children
brought forth by the two secretaries who
preceded them so this story was kept
among these sisters until 1962
two of them rebelled against the person
who was responsible and begin to tell
the story all over the city of Chicago
it caused many of the Muslims in the
Chicago mosques to leave and go back out
in the street they knew it and it I knew
nothing about it until 1963 when mr.
Muhammad's son who had been in prison
came out and he was he had been a
minister he was very religious and
spiritual and when he began to hear
these rumors around Chicago he went to
one of the sisters and the sister
admitted to him that the rumor was true
and it was he who first told me about it
and when he told me about it I took I
wrote to mr. Mohammed and told him about it and he admitted that he had a
knowledge of it and that he'd given me a
religious explanation that would fit
into prophecy and all of that so I was
quiet and it wasn't until October of
1963 that it came up again and when it
came up again I realized that the same
person who had made these other sisters
pregnant was still busy doing the same
thing he hadn't stopped two of the
sisters had two children by the same man
and one of the two one of those two
sisters was pregnant still getting ready
to have a third child by the same man so
when it was known among the Chicago
officials that I had a knowledge of this
they become very fearful of me they
became very antagonistic toward me and
they tried they had to do something to
diminish the authority that I had for
fear that if this became public
knowledge the followers would leave the
Muslim movement and follow me and it was at that time that they used the
statement that I made against President
Kennedy as a pretext to cut my Authority
and some other things happen that
finally were produced to split or forced
to split and when I made the split the
only reason that I didn't make this
public knowledge was I knew the
implications and I felt that if the
Muslims who were in the Nation of Islam
knew it that which enables them to be so strongly religious and exercise moral
discipline would be shattered and it
would cause all of them to go right back
and start doing the things that they had
been doing previously who is the father
of all of these various children whom
you have enumerated the first one to
tell me who the father was was Wallace
Muhammad and he told me that the father
was Elijah Muhammad himself one of the
sisters - he went to the home of one of
the sisters and when he walked in the
door she said I want to let you see
something and she showed him her child
she said here's your brother and your father is the one your father is the father of this child and then ask questioned the sisters myself because it was shook up and they admitted to me that Elijah Muhammad was the father

Television Man Probably JFK but Obama a very close second....
Get your facts straight please. The Democratic Convention with JFK was held in Los Angeles in 1960. It had nothing to do with 1996 or Election eve activities in Boston later in 1960. Please make the proper corrections.
🙏🙏🙏 Thank God I have overcome the world 🌎. Thank God for my freedom. Thank God I have a second chance to honor my marriage and family. Thank God for full time employment 🇺🇸
Qué gran carisma tuvo este gran hombre, tengo 70 años y no me canso de leer sobre él lo admiro para mi el mejor presidente de todos los tiempos.
Watch out for that old Polecat Lyndon
I didn't know the Democrats National Convention was held the night before election day back then. Both parties national conventions have always been during summer as far back as I remember.
The convention was in July, 1960, followed by the campaign and those famous debates. This video was the night before election day, when Kennedy was "home" and would vote the next morning--November 8, 1960
@@christinewrona643 Thanks for the information. It sure looked like a convention instead of a regular campaign stop were the crowds were usually smaller. I believe it wasn't until 2016 when we saw every campaign rally of Donald Trump's attended by tens of thousands of people.
5:19 are they yelling JFK???
I want one of those hats does anyone have one for sale d round one's.
When he fell out of the charisma tree, he hit every branch on the way down. RIP JFK!
Kennedy: um autêntico superstar ! E a bandinha atacando o tema marinha (Navy) o tempo todo !
I was only 11 yrs old when he gave this powerful speech. As Nov 3rd 2020 approaches only two Presidents deserves this ovation President Reagan and President Donald J. Trump. God we pray for President Trump
HAHAHAHAHA. What a joke!
You mean the paedophile Reagan and the alleged rapist racist bigoted orange orangutan Trump. Lol. You must be on drugs or have mental health issues.

Where is Jackie?
+Gabriel Friedel Home in bed, I think. This speech was made late on Monday night, Nov. 7, 1960, the day before election day. By then, Jackie was more than 8 months pregnant with JFK, Jr. who would be born on Nov. 25th.
Home, 8 months pregnant.
Love you my sugar Daddy❤️🌹

That must've torn his lower back apart
