The opening chants: "Lion in the hall," and "Cyaan tek no more a dat" are Brinsley Forde, the lead singer of Aswad, from the Babylon movie soundtrack. Years ago, by chance, I bumped into Aswad at Island Records HQ in London. I suggested to them that they should do a greatest hits album, and include the original Babylon cut on the album. Sure enough, less than 12 months later...

this seriously may be the best dubstep tune of all time. encapsulates all the best qualities of the scene from the late 00s up until then and it still sounds so fresh and absolutely punishing. can't imagine disliking this if you dig serious bass.

Dub on its own lends from the early dubstep techniques. The crudest explanation is reggae music intertwined with underground early dubstep.

Actually iPod earphones are pretty goods and still better than computer speaker ! But nothing compare to a good sound system of course, dub & reggae NEED a sound system to be fully appreciated
