Nancy, I really enjoyed your podcast. I appreciate the honesty about women of a certain age and issues with temperature. I find myself trying to avoid patterns for worsted and heavier yarns.
You do not talk too fast, in my opinion. I am looking forward to more episodes.

@@knitsiphappy It is a balancing act. I find I still use light weight yarn for winter but different animal fiber blends and I knit denser fabric to keep me warm.

I watch a lot of knitting podcasts. I especially enjoyed yours because you move things along and don’t belabor a point. I am not a sock knitter, but I enjoyed seeing your socks and maybe I’ll get inspired to try. It’s those double pointed needles going in every which direction that have me intimidated. You made me giggle when you started off with the wine! I think you are the first knitting podcaster that I saw who is sipping wine! Awesome...hahaha! Girl, its a BLANKET! Just keep knitting it, nobody will take out a measuring tape to make sure all the blocks are even! I am still knitting on my Jelly Roll Blanket and none of the blocks are the same size! Great first podcast. Maybe you can make your blanket undulate, work the next few columns working to match the first column then repeat. Or work over a few columns to get back to the first column row counts and then work the rest of the columns with the original row counts. Ripping out so much would be so incredibly discouraging to me.

Loved your first episode and can’t wait for #2. I truly love the fact that you tell about modifications on your items. I too. am a pear shape and appreciate any help I can get. I also love using fingering yarns for all my tees. I am from Texas. Do you love sweet or dry wines. I am a semi-sweet.
