25:00 Scrabble tiles sell in lots on their own too. I've bought several lots of just random Scrabble tiles for my collages. Or crafts. Like if you decorate a picture frame and then put MIKE at the top or bottom of the picture frame or one time, I made a picture frame for a friend with a pic of his dog and used Scrabble tiles to put HANDSOME on the frame and put a pic of his dog in it. I've been wanting to make a pic frame for a pic of my dog too because he's also handsome. 😊

Thanks for another great video! I find that having a keen sense of curiosity is invaluable. I often find things in plain carboard boxes or just odd looking things that I have no idea what they are and they end up being very valuable. This gives me a huge advantage over those who are looking for the obvious!

Hi Mike - need your guidance.
I believe I was played by an Ebay buyer tonight and what's done is done but this is exactly why I gave up selling about 20 years ago. I started up again in Feb with a new ID. Been, trying to build up my feedback. I take the time to write honest and accurate descriptions. It's been going well. Learning some lessons like when I mess up on shipping, etc. I'm fine with that. But today, a buyer contacted me demanding a refund - flat out lying about the condition of the item they received. It was a pair of LG Bluetooth wraparound neck style headphones. They were my own- not a flip. They were absolutely clean and like new - even had original packaging. She claimed they had exposed wires and were very dirty, including 'ear crust". First of all, the "exposed" wires are a feature so that the user can disengage the pad easily if necessary. And I can state unequivocally that the foam pads were clean. She's flat out lying. Reading through a few forum posts it seems obvious that Eat will always side with the seller. I asked her for photos (which I don't expect to receive) and I initiated the refund. It just sucks now that I have to hope she doesn't ding my positive feedback . How do we prevent this from happening. It makes me want to leave again. I was hoping to build up my business as I'm facing retirement next year. And I'm good at this. Advice? ❤ You! Thanks!
I will tell you that they are out there and it's almost impossible to stop many of them. I have learned to do certain things will some items markings etc, serial numbers. All you really can do is just take the return back. Force them to return the item. If they send a different item then you can try to open a case, but in general we are stuck. I will tell you to just stay focused and don't allow them to win. You will grow your business no matter what. If they leave a negative respond to it and then just move on. It's a tough one. Next time when you get a DVD/VCR combo with DVD problem try to clean the DVD head with some alcohol. A lot of time will fix the DVD error and start playing DVD's
