Yes, He can talk in many different voices, and yes he can pick up on so many things haha.
Yes, very true, but on many occasions, Gizmo is not saying what his owner makes out he says! Plus, he was obviously near American or Canadian Accents for those many years, & of course now has an owner who has a British/Pomme Accent! (Aussies say "Pomme's" which means "prisoner of mother England!" Both owners seem caring people, but many of the words he says are not what you see on the screen!

We lost our Klan of 4 cat's and Two pups. They lived 20 years+- for the cat's and 15 +- for the pups. Big pups!! We have an outside pack of multiple doves, Crow's, Squirrels, 🦆 Ducks, Hawks, and a bunch of different cool 🐦 Bird's. We feed them wild bird seed.
Giz Iz so funny! We love him so much. We love all the Great Bird's, but I think our favorite is Giz and 🥝 kiwi. Keep up the good work. Who let the 🐦 Bird's out, Chirp.

Charming critter. His body language, sitting comfortably with one foot tucked up, shows how relaxed he is while being videoed. He seems to have several large cages. Has his sex been determined with DNA or just guessed?
Of course, we must remind potential parrot companions that they are not all as wonderfully outgoing as Giz, and that teaching them "naughty" words may not be a good idea, as it could make them unadoptable later down the road in their very long lives. All that being said, just Sqwak Off, y'all! What a cutie!
Yes, he is a true delight. He loves being on camera and having fun with us. Yes, he is 100% DNA confirmed as a male. We rescued Giz over a year ago and he already came saying some cheeky words but they are few and far between. 🥰

I don’t know about his history but sounds like he was a well loved companion of an old guy with a dry sense of humour, he was obviously given lots of attention.
His life was the complete opposite. He was kept in a cage for 16 years, no freedom at all
Teaching “sarcasm” to my ESL students was a real chore. With Giz, it seems almost natural. 😂

Alex the Red tailed African Grey(the late) was studied and extensively researched by Professor Irene Pepperberg for over 20 years. It has been scientifically proven that parrots have the intelligence of a 3yr old child and maturity of a 2yr old. This is why it is tragic when they are caged solely for humans egos’!
