I’m planning on purchasing a Brother but I was under the assumption that you needed a non Mac computer to digitize so this video gave me so much relief!
It depends on the program(s) you choose to use for Digitizing! Please do LOTS of research before jumping in. You won't regret what you learn in your research but you will regret it if you don't do any!!
Thank you for this explanation. I'm set to purchase my first embroidery machine and I'm so excited to make my own designs. I wasn't sure which design software was right for me. Your video helped. 🙂
hey chelly i haven’t watched many videos, only one so far but I’d like to share my appreciation of your content with you! I love the name on your channel an the details in your videos, I love that you express your personality n your quirkiness. I intend to revisit the video you shared links to products- thank you for that!! keep up the great work you are destined for magic n i expect to keep up with you. thanks for bein my friend n a part of my foundation as a profitable crafter 🤍🤝🏽 cheers!
Thank you for these videos! I'm just starting out and haven't even received my embroidery machine yet but i've watched all of your videos and they've been SO informative and SO helpful!! :))
Here’s all the machines I have: (Small) Brother SE 625 (Medium) Brother Stellaire Inovis-XJ1 (Large/6 needle) Brother Entrepreneur PR-650 Hope this helps :)
Hi thank you for the tips,I’m deciding between sew what and sew art or this and essential, what do you suggest?Im mostly interested in turning photos and images into embroidery files. Not so much a good artist lol
This is cool. I wish I had an embroidery machine but I don't. Maybe one day. Do you know if there is software for designing hand embroidery? If so, what's it called?
i love this so much! i just bought a machine & am trying my first design!! question though- what do i save my procreate file as to upload to that software? thank you so mcuh!
Hi Chelly! Thank you so much for your tips! I'm just starting out, and haven't decided on a software just yet. Would you say purchasing Stitch Artist Level 1 would be more than enough to start with or should I invest in Level 2?
@@yourfriendchellythat’s what I changed but only did the grid area. I wonder why mine doesn’t change. Do you have stitch art 2 or 3 maybe that’s it. I have also looked for setting in stitches to make image thicker but I also don’t have. Ty for trying to help me
Hello hyd I love your videos and I have a question. Do you have to purchase the embrilliance software in order to save your designs to your pc or USB drive because its keeps telling me the design elements that are not licensed for savings?
Im not quite sure what that error message means honestly. I know you don’t need the software to downloaded a design from somewhere else you should only need to “unzip it” if youre using a MacBook
@@yourfriendchelly ok thanks because I’m new to embroidery I have the S600 machine just learning the basic stuff right now. And I use my windows 11 computer
Hi!! I love watching your videos. I am wanting to start up my own apparel business but was wondering if you set your business up as a sole proprietor? Also, did you need to obtain any other permit or license to start selling your items? I would love help and advice on the legal aspect of opening up an embroidery business ☺️
In my experience thats not possible. I have to buy exactly what I want in the specific size so that I can get what I want. If the elements are completely separate you can delete a part that you don’t want. I suggest reaching out to the artist on etsy and ask them if they can change it and purchase a new version from them.
Hi Chelly, thank you for the video. I have a question please. In order to digitize for embroidery design, the lowest level of the software I have to purchase would be stitch artist level 1 right?
i want to get into embroidaring (particularly beanies) and i was wondering if you have a good beginner embroidairy/stitching machine you would recommend to do this digitizing process?
I started with the brother se625 but the brother pe800 is the best start. In one of my other videos I talk about what I bought for my embroidery machine when I first started.
hello. my name is Jerri. I was wondering how to fill an embroidered design. I figured out the satin stitch, but I'm not sure how to go about filling the design. and I'm using Embrilliance software
Hi! I’m learning how to do embroidery and I just had a question, so I use procreate to do all my designs, would I be able to save my design as PDF of PNG on procreate and upload it into the software to turn it into the embroidery? Or how do you create your designs? 😊
Hey! Yes absolutely, that’s what I do. I draw the designs in procreate and then upload them to my software and then turn them into stitches there. You can also import, google pictures, photos, and all kind of files into this software
Is this easy to do on a MacBook Air? I know macs can be…. Difficult lol Also great video I’ve been wanting to make some custom marvel hoodies and I’ve been scared making designs was going to be crazy complicated
Im not sure how simple it would be lol. I have seen other people digitize on their MacBooks before so I would cross my finger and hope for the best. For those more detailed pieces I would look into paying someone to digitize it for you. It saves you so much stress and time. Best of luck!!
I have a question (currently learning).. what do you press or click to end the drawn line? i trace my picture out but when i go to do a different part it just continues the line making it a never ending line.
Hi, I’m new to designing on procreate and transferring to StitchArtist. I’m having trouble with having my designs show up in StitchArtist. Does file type or size matter? Any information will be greatly appreciate it 😊
Hey, I normally don’t have any issues transferring from procreate to TH-cam. I generally use JPEG or PNG files and it works every time. If you are not seeing your designs; go to the tab on stitch Artist where you are making your stitches and make sure the image is turned on. If you see the image in the right hand column but not in the design area its just because its turned off.
I have SA Level 1 and am a little familiar with it. I was hoping this video was going to actually show how to create a design. Kinda hard to follow what you’re doing.

Can you do more videos on Stitch Artist Level 1? This is the best/easiest to follow video for beginners I've seen so far. Thank you!
One more coming soon! Im glad to know it was helpful!
This video was really great to watch! I’d love to see more like this, I haven’t been able to find many stitch artist videos that aren’t 5+ years old
Thanks for the feedback! That’s the exact reason I wanted to create my channel. I’ll keep this in mind when making more videos!
Thanks for sharing your tips!! I like the idea of making samples of the stitches, just started using Artistic Digitizer. This will be so helpful💕
Yay! Welcome to the club
Loved your video, was very helpful. Thank you
Ms My Friend Chelly, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE STITCH TIP! You just obtained a new subscriber/
Thank you so much! Glad I could help
good job. I just started learning this software L3
Love the music. I tried to locate the embroidery machine that I saw in the background and is it the same one that you talked about in the video.

Smoked chicken? If you replace the cigarette with a wine glass you have Coq au Van! Nice job, Chelly.
Hahah love it! Thanksss
Great Video!

I love that you were watching Schitts Creek 😂
Can you merge and also optimize stitching order thru a buttons in stitch artistry level one?
Can't wait to see what more you do! Suggestion!! Talk a bit louder. I got my volume all the way up and can barely hear you in some parts of it :)
Thank you for your feedback, I genuinely appreciate it!
Awesomeness!!!❤
i love this so much! i just bought a machine & am trying my first design!! question though- what do i save my procreate file as to upload to that software? thank you so mcuh!
Heyy! I normally just save it as a jpeg. Feel free to save it as anything else though, as long as you can see the image you should be good to go.
Really awesome! Thank you!
I just bought this software, how do you turn the app to dark mode?
Hi Chelly! Thank you so much for your tips! I'm just starting out, and haven't decided on a software just yet. Would you say purchasing Stitch Artist Level 1 would be more than enough to start with or should I invest in Level 2?
Heyyy! I think Stitch Artist Level 1 is more than enough. I only got level 2 to do 3D Foam designs and I don’t use it often.
@@yourfriendchelly Thanks for the suggestion!
Would you have a site that you recommend for art work to create designs from?
Hello. To open one of your work After purchasing in etsy
Do I need to open it in an app that recognize Embroidery ?
No, you should be able to “un zip” the file and upload it to a flash drive!
My machine reads DST and XXX can you save as those files or only PES?
Hi can you tell me how you changed to black? I've had my grid are a diff color but unsure where to go to change everything else TIA
Hey! I was able to change to change the color in the grid settings. You can also change a few other settings there. Let me know if I can help more!
@@yourfriendchelly can you tell me where in grid settings please
It’s the 5 icon from the right that top row of tools. It’s a yellowish square.

Dear . What is this software

You said StitchArtist Level 1, but immediately, I see you have the Vector button and it isn't grayed out. Are you sure you're using Level 1?
Yes I have Stitch Artist Levels one and two from Embrillance.
Definitely trying this in the morning. I love your pink cabinet behind you. Where did you get it? Thanks x
I got it from Walmart but it’s the brand Real Rooms! It’s so cute and fits so much of my crap I don’t want to see
Question- I have a file already that was bought on Etsy. How do I delete something from the design on this program with level 1?

Absolutely! I often do that too, to trace clipart and things like that.
