    Which did you think performed better the Andis blade and cutter or the Andis blade with the JRL cutting blade?

    Great video and there's nothing wrong with showing everything. You figured it out and got through it.

    Reggie the blade cover that comes with the jrl is the blade setter .. put it on the blade and click it in place and you’ll see it leaves the screws exposed just losen screws a little and adjust and tighten.. same thing with the madeshow m6 and pop barbers p700 all use the same blade guard zero gap system cuz they all the same trimmers

      You can use the GTX blade, I would say the cordless one just because if you can get your hands on the new gold GTX blade that would be good.

    When you took the screws out of the gtx blade and screwed it down on the jrl trimmer.... does the blade move too high on either side... does it shift at all or does it stay where its supposed to?

    • @CutsByReggie
      @CutsByReggie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No it doesn’t slide too much. Once you sturdy it just a bit, it’s pretty stuck where it’s suppose to be.

  • @xaviersmith7226
    @xaviersmith7226 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    So in order how would you rate them...Jrl 2020t..... gamma evo... gamma hitters... or babyliss fx trimmer

    • @CutsByReggie
      @CutsByReggie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Now after using them all for different periods of time I would go:
      Gamma Evo
      Babyliss FX
      JRL 2020t
      Gamma Hitters

    • @xaviersmith7226
      @xaviersmith7226 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CutsByReggie i have the Babyliss FX but i was trying to add a new trimmer... the gamma or jrl... i heard that evo was a true hitter

    • @CutsByReggie
      @CutsByReggie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The EVOs are good but one of my favorite cordless trimmer is the .22 Stinger from Caliber.

    • @xaviersmith7226
      @xaviersmith7226 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      .22 stinger fresh out the box or with mods?

    When taking those two screws out does that blade stay set? Or does it slide

    • @CutsByReggie
      @CutsByReggie  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It stays in place thanks to the “white piece” clicking on and then tightening the 2 screws to hold the still blade.

      I am not always a fan of it. I like to use the tool as it come and if it don’t work as is, I usually pass on it. But I had heard some good about this switch so I tried it...Not really worth overall.

    I don't think you actually needed that blade guide once you removed those 2 little screws, it appears that the stock blade didn't have one. Not sure if you've tried removing it from the andis blade completely.
