Some behind the scenes stuff: - Part of "The World's Enemy" (Crisis Core OWA) was content claimed and I was originally going to mute the part that was "claimed," but whatever... hate when people claim unrelated content *(EDIT: Surprise, there's more content claims, **_BUT..._** they are from the actual people/company who made these masterpieces, Square Enix and Nobuo Uematsu, etc.)* - Couldn't decide on using only Dissidia's or Distant Worlds' versions so I included them both - Couldn't find a high-quality version of Dissidia's OWA so I did as best I could to make the transition sound natural - I didn't use Advent Children COMPLETE's OWA because I didn't like its mixing; it didn't sound like it fit. I ended up using vanilla Advent Children's OWA... I think COMPLETE's a bit too remastered lol, I was originally going to overlay it with vanilla Advent Children's OWA to compensate but after about five minutes of messing around I decided on just vanilla AC Again, thanks for watching, and hope you enjoyed! I really enjoyed this thank you so much for this video this has for sure convinced me to try again and I’ll try to put a lot more effort in than I did before and I’ll be crediting you as you did me for inspiring me to try again just give me some time before I can make mine I do the process on my phone I don’t have any special equipment or anything I just use the InShot app since idk any other editing software that I can use. If you can possibly help me with that it would be wonderful, but once again thank you and I’ll get started on redoing my mashup as soon as I can (since I have college to worry about) I cannot express how much I love this mashup of yours. (Yes I was typing this as watching but I wanted to finish watching before posting my comment and after finishing it it truly is wondrous)
Thank you so much, that means a lot! Glad that you're inspired to try again, that's the most important step! You definitely don't need anything fancy (though it does help in terms of rendering/music processing). If you have a computer and Audacity installed, you pretty much have the basics for mixing (imo). Tbh, since the Rebirth OST came out I was mainly interested in extending a few tracks for casual listening and had no idea how to use Audacity, but after trial and error I was able to not only extend the tracks I wanted but get enough practice to the point where I could make the mashups I did. And it's been FUN.
Love all these versions the remake one was a bitch because they teased you for like 5 minutes until you finally hear the lyrics while rebirth was quick paced but it was missing the veni veni venias ne me mori facias which is my fav part in the song
I think I remember seeing a comment that quoted a statement from one of Nobuo Uematsu's interview saying One Winged Angel rebirth was an incomplete puzzle so the songs were just scattered here and there. But the original ones are the complete puzzle
Now that you mention it, it kinda does lol! The way I see it though, it's by design. My headcanon on why I think it sounds like this is because at this point in the story of FF7, Sephiroth hasn't become that big of a threat yet, and that ferocity/menacing aura we associate with One-Winged Angel isn't quite there yet either. It's only until falling into the Lifestream does he become much more dangerous
There's a reason why I didn't include the Kingdom Hearts "One-Winged Angel" tracks, simply because it just loops. But y'know what? I'll take note of this list. Sometime in the future I'll revisit One-Winged Angel and give it another go, this time with all these tracks.
You know that penultimate means "second to last" right? So you mean you are making one more One Winged Angel remix? A lot of people seem to think that "penultimate" is like saying SUPER ultimate, but you can't get better than ultimate
Correct, I'll do one more One-Winged Angel mix. The use of penultimate was deliberate, basically just waiting on Remake Part 3 since that'll be considered the final "official" One-Winged Angel iteration. I'll have a different name lined up for that mix in the future. :)
