I am packing to go away for 17 days. In this video I use my pakt back dupe which is 35/40l. I previously did another video about the bag, linked below ⬇️ It is a carry on backpack rather than suitcase. I am taking a little more than I would usually pack as an extreme minimalist, as I plan to make some more minimalist and Minimalism content whilst I am away in Greece.
In this video I discuss some minimalist eco friendly travel essentials and also the pitfalls of packing only hand luggage. That is due to prohibited items and how to get around this as a minimalist packer. I also show how I switch between kon mari, (the marie kondo folding method) and ranger rolling for different styles of garments.

This is the same backpack I have had since the beginning of my channel for anyone wondering. This is the same bag featured on the pakt bag dupe video. I have 2 backpacks, (both are green) this one is 35 to 40litre and the other 20litre. Furthermore I have a crossbody bag and one purse.4 bags in total. I am stating this simply for anyone wondering as a few comments so far seem to illustrate confusion surrounding my possesions. With an isolated instance of name calling? 💭 🤔 Everyone has different amounts of items in their minimalist lifestyle. May I remind us all that as long as we use our stuff, in this case our bags- no number is too high. If the bags add value also great. All mine are different sizes for different purposes. After all why would I want to take out a 40litre to carry my phone and a bottle of water. Not to mention other hygiene items as a woman - yes I used the gender card… as so far it has been male commenters forgetting the biological difference of many woman, making these comments. Such a practical packing video! I love Marie Kondo. With the name of her packing style, it is “KonMari” rather than “MariKon” because in Japan surnames go first, before the first name.

Fab video Lydia❤. Its amazing what you can pack in your carry on. Would you be taking a small bumbag/ bag for when you go sightseeing etc? What about sunglasses? Our UK weather has been *#@! to say the least and that's from me down South where we 'normally' see the best of it😂. Talk about 3 seasons in one day😂. Sending love to you xx

FYI...Tom's of Maine was purchased by a large corporation. Native is more natural and can be purchased in a paper biodegradable container. They do have mini sizes for travel in plastic!! I'd need a sun hat and if you will be at the beach, a bathing suit. Safe and happy travels!!
