Vivid did my ECU flash and I saw about the same gains. I have a few more mods so my gains were a little higher. I will say, the flash made my Mini a beast. Well worth it.
@@randy2.0kitt How much would i be looking to spend to do all of this? i have a complete stock f55 mini, Remus exhaust? catback , turbo back ? intake is about $350 from what ive seen, How much is the tune?
I recon you a B48 (180hp) could push up to 300hp reliably on stock internals, and a JCW B48 (300hp) could potentially handle 400-500 stock? The engine is essentially a B58 and shares the same parts but with 2 less cylinders. A B58 can reliably push up to handle 650hp
the jcw and Cooper s literally have the same motor, you're going to start seeing issues around 320+ hp on both motors, its best not to push them over 300. you don't know what you're are talking about at all its actually funny.
@@NoHope_ I may be wrong but this is what I saw th-cam.com/video/nIlCv0AEwOI/w-d-xo.html In the description, it says they made 361whp on a stage 2 tune using 91 octane fuel. The B58 can make numbers up to 700hp reliably, potentially pushing up to 900hp if all auxiliary parts are changed I assume. The B48 could make make 2/3 of that potentially
Why is the graph that weird? I mean dropping that much after it peaks? It should be going up and peaking at 6500 rpm. Also, why so little hp? My R60 S has 244 hp... and that is the 1.6T. The F56 should get 260 with only a tune.
That is how the factory Mini mapping works. This is a Mustang dyno. Typically has 20-25% drivetrain loss in AWD and 15-20% in FWD. Its about the gain not the numbers.
@@vivid_racing Never seen a dyno of a mini (either R60 or F56) do that. Power goes up smooth and linear up to 6500. On any mini. Maybe some heat issue in the intake manifold? ECU cuts back when it passes 50°C. Not hard to reach that on a stock car, let alone a tuned one.
All i am saying is there must be something wrong. A stage 1 remap, nothing else changed should get you a 70 hp gain at least (100 hp if it is the 160 hp version, don't know if you guys have that one over there or if it is a EU thing).
The mid end torque is such a improvement when you tune these
The stock power isn't 192/207 it's actually 215/245. They are underrated from factory.
A dyno is just a tool, and there are many variables that change the number displayed.
Hp vs whp

Thank you!
All they do is dyno tune and flash the stock ecu you don’t need a after market?

Why wouldn't you just read the numbers aloud rather than just the percentage increases? I don't want to have to click to a website with a dyno sheet
This car has a test mode to dyno it. The AWD dyno mode is not more accurate.
Yea but didnt feel like backing it on to the dyno and blowing exhaust gas into the shop. What matters if the before and after difference.
Since when are minis all wheel drive
same asking my self
I think someone fucked up the description. The countryman, pace and, and f54 Clubman are the only ones with a 4wd option
The back wheels were spinning, im confused
They’re probably using an AWD dyno so all four rollers spin the wheels.
It’s an AWD dyno 🙃
How is it awd¿?
The dyno is awd
What exhaust is that?
I'm confused, Evolve automotive has a flash tune that u can buy that adds way more power then this, without bolt ons, is that legit?
Is it bhp or whp they quote?

Stock intercoolers are pretty crappy. ;-)

100 octane?
