Thank you so much!
good job guys!
Thank you!
Looks great
Thank you so much!
I love how your forests look on the table! Were they scratch-built?
thank you so much. yes they are. kidney bean shape templates out of foam core board with wooden sticks for trunks around the permitter. then the top was covered with foliage from wood land scenics . Little Wars tv has a tutorial on how to do it as well. check them out for other great terrain ideas.
I do love epic, but like my 28mm. Not sure which to do with pike and shotte🤔
Awesome.
Where is the mat from?
www.cigarboxbattle.com it’s one of there Civil War mats . Huge fan of their mats and have a bunch of them . Check them out. I believe this one is their “Hornets Nest” one
Lovely! How long was the game?
Thank you so much! I’d say a little over two hours . Great time
Isn't it "Cuirassierr" not "Corsair"?
They're not CORSAIRS... Corsairs are North African or French pirates.
They are CUIRASSIERS - kweRASSyayrs. Armored heavy cavalry.
Dude can’t even pronounce “Cavalry.”
@winter9703 yeah, I mean I don't wanna be mean about it but words and definitions create meaning and using the wrong words confuses the meaning.
Interesting battle report, but maybe slow down the ‘camera’ movement and zooming please. It’s making me feel dizzy 😢
Will do!
And it’s cavalry not ‘Calvary’ 😢
Another channel pronounced Valois (the French dynasty involved in the Italian Wars, which is what the video concerned) Val-oh-ee (it's actually pronounced Val-wah) and said that a Roman Imperial legion of ~5,000 men was about the same as a modern battalion (which, as a soldier, I can tell you is *wildly* incorrect). A different channel on the American Civil War pronounced zouaves (a specific troop type from that war) as 'Zoe-Avs' instead of 'Zwavs.'
A primary appeal of historical wargaming is the, you know, history. It's important to get it right. Broadcast dumb mistakes like not know what mounted soldiers are called damages the appeal of the hobby.
Maybe ask the other guy to not whistle, it's annoying 😂
Looks great! Can you play these epic scale games on a 120*120(4 feet*4 feet) table or would that be too small?
i think it work fine. its a good scale for most tables.
