    Hi,
Will BTI help around a cottage in Ontario ? I also have a cottage near Lake Placid NY, they use BTI all over that part in the Adirondacks & it makes a huge difference.

Fun Fact: if you apply pressure near the female mosquitos proboscis while she is biting you it will hold it in place making it so she cannot stop taking your blood due to the role in which positive pressure in the human body plays in her process of drinking your blood while her head is in this position. She will therefore begin bloat to the point of rupture where you can then let go while she removes her proboscis from your body before expiring. (rather than leaving her appendage behind risking infection.)
used to do this when we were young the boys and I. ;P;P;P
have we learned something new today??????? :):):P

Wish I could find a decent presentation on the species and distribution of mosquitos in Ontario, or other more in-depth knowledge.

Thanks for the video Bruce. I have a spring fed stream on my property and the blackflys are crazy in the spring. Now Knowing that they are great pollinators and giving me something in return for my blood I don’t mind their bites as much! All about the big picture! Thanks again Bruce.
