it's so nice watching someone actually appreciating her instead of throwing the usual "underwhelming" comments... plus the ult doing 18k?? every 2 secs?? when it's not even at a high level and not her main focus?? and people call her one of the worst 5 stars??? i love her sm, she's my first pyro dps and i couldn't be any happier with her

He is using 5* weapons on supports and on Yoimiya so of course her damage is going to be higher than what an average player can do.
He's basically Hu Tao but with a bow. The idiots can't figure out like 10 characters can proc her ult smh

Yoimiya can attack faster with Jean's c2 and Eula's signature weapon, so she becomes an absolute machine gun.

For chamber 1 when you kill a samurai the other heals half HP on his next attack so you want to kill them together
Ah I assume that applies to the overworld as well. Sometimes one just randomly jumps back to full and I'm like bruh

I like the fact how he is in the realm of his own and doesn't has any outside influence on him. So he can give honest thoughts about what he thinks of a character

yeah and his realm includes massive whaling. i collected everything i could, saved 15k primos and my yoimiya on lvl 81 with 9-8-7 talents still sucks. cause all i have is a ar1 rust and anything i could get from artifacts. and i couldn't get a lot since im f2p wdym spending primos on resin
@@annavc1286 me too? i’m not f2p but i’m a low spender i only spent money on welkin .my yoimiya’s 7-7-6 and she does 10k per attack .her artifacts are still so bad and she’s on r2 rust but she still does so well
@@ikuyo9061 10k per attack or 10k once every 7th attack? not nearly enough to clear a group of enemies or any new mob from inazuma and sertainly underperforming on floor 12 abyss. listen i don't wanna hate on her, really waited, still use every day, but the ICD mechanic and a very specific signature weapon-artifact combo did dissapoint me. she can't get too close but can't be a fully ranged char too, so she often gets hit inbetween. fighting against cicin mages is a pain. and yeah she does anything from 3k to 30k with reaction but my yanfei with some wanderer artifacts slapped on her does 30+k up to 40k charged guaranteed for every 3rd or 4th attack. i reallly wish yoimiya wouldn't require so much and have zero AoE. still great agains single bosses tho

as a yoimiya main and lover im really glad to see people talking positively about her !!!!! i think shes so fun to play and i honestly think shes rlly good. shes no hu tao obviously but i think people forget that shes literally spamming this dmg
Me too..it's disgusting the amount of toxicity she gets for literally no reason..if u think she is weak and ppl who like her or think she is strong are on copium then skip her geez no need to be so toxic..also I believe a big reason for this hate is cognitive dissonance (if i skip her to get baal/ayaka I must justify this decision by saying she is weak)

This meh girl hits 65k in my account although her artifacts aren't all that great and got me through abyss for the first time (althought i have xiao) so .. i don't know what more do u want

I'm pulling for Baal but I'm not gonna trash Yoimiya like the others lol. She's pretty good actually, and I like her play style but I'm more into the Animation and play style of Baal. I'm a F2P, so I can't get them both *sigh*

im sorry to be mad in this comment. But i dont know why when other character showcase with 5 star weapon,people say ‘wow she/he so strong’ but when yoimiya showcase people say ‘anyone can be strong with 5 star weapon and broken support’. It’s kinda sad cause yoimiya is strong in my opinion. Yes her burst in underwhelming but from what i understand, she is not suppose to use her burst. She is not an aoe character but we have support to solve the problem of her aoe. What I’m trying to say is that once one people ( or content creator) started say that she bad, everyone just agree with it, which is why i love watch moga’s video too cause he always low the expetation on every character that have been release. On the contrary, most people who know what they're talking about don't just have issues with her ult and aoe problems, but also her ICD tags which severely limits how many vapes she can do. Moga thinks his comparisons are fair just because characters are equally invested in his showcases BUT he builds and plays some characters TERRIBLY compared to others. Case in point: Hutao. You do NOT build millelith on her and his control of her dps window is also extremely amateurish. Moga's commentary is shallow, only being wowed by one big number "omg her normal attack hit 64k!" while he doesn't talk at all about how often that number appears and why it isn't on every arrow lmao.

It's not a damn esports tournament, it's a mobile game, calling someone's use of a character "amateurish" just makes you sound like an asshole when they can still clear content fine. It's not like he's hurting anyone by playing how he plays, true meta slaves wouldn't be watching his videos for tips and casual players don't care if it's not the most efficient playstyle, so what's it to you?? I'm sure his Yoimiya gameplay isn't min-maxed either?

1. I do think people should play the way they want to. Meta/the characters they find fun, you do you. I just think too many people are so emotionally immature they can't stand characters they like being bad in the meta although they claim not to care. I love Noelle and love playing her. Is she trash in the meta? Pretty much. Am I salty that most agree? No. Why would I? I like how she looks and have fun playing her.
2. If you find a character fun, why would vids pointing out she's bad meta-wise ruin your fun at all? I did not claim that anyone who pulled for and is playing yoimiya is wrong or doesn't know what they're doing. Again, definitely play the character you have fun with. But her role in the meta was what the original comment was addressing and hence what I focused on.
3. It's true that most meta slaves wouldn't be watching moga. But when you tout your videos as a fair comparison of characters' potentials just because they have similar investment, then it's also fair for someone to call you out that it isn't.
4. I don't think I've expressed an opinion anywhere in my original comment. I've elaborated on more reasons why meta slaves don't think she's up to scratch, then I've explained how moga's godmode video showcases aren't as fair as he would like them to be, "amateurish" referring to the severely sub-optimal manner in which he plays certain characters. Are players free to play however they wish? Of course. But don't claim it to be a good comparison because it isn't.

I got Yoimiya on accident but I’m honestly really happy with her. I haven’t had a bow user main dps before so its a fresh new thing for me, and I’m really enjoying it. And even when she’s not fully leveled yet, she’s doing pretty damn well already. Idk what people are talking about when they say she’s bad.
I think it was the current mindset of the players of how she works, you could think she's bad because her playstyle is unusual, but as soon as you adjust to her you realize how good she is. Also you need the right support char for her and i think those might even be different than the supports that everyone has been using until now. for example c2 jean is a really good support for her.

They say shes bad because shes not as broken as hutao/ganyu/eula/ayaka, but its fine if mihoyo doesnt release so many "too powerful" characters.
Some ppl got a point, you depend on mihoyos auto aim and it usually scks. But its not her whos bad, its the aiming of the game
@@noveliayuki meta players are focusing on character effectivity on the Abyss 12. We can really see that Yoimiya is struggling against a group of mobs even with this much of support casts. But for overworld especially boss fights She's a SSS+ even for F2P and mobile user. Definitely worth to pull She will make farming 100% easier.
@@brucewayne722 not only for abyss 12... they one characters that one shot thats all lol and you have a lot of characters for mobile users who cant aim well (non bow mdps characters). Shes getting hate for not oneshotting everything, and abyss will constantly change so you never know how good she is if youre basing everything on abyss 12

edit: i don’t understand why everything has to be about numbers and max dmg like personally i already have some strong characters so now i’m in it for the characters i want and enjoy the most. dissing characters for their dmg is childish and only serves as a way for petty people to gain a small ego boost from pissing someone else on the internet off

So she is behind quite a lot of characters. For single target she is behind hu tao melt ganyu xianling so she ia fourth in the game for that

The rust is definitely best in slot among the 4 stars. I am pretty happy with it. Would be happier if I get 4 more copies.^^
Btw yoimiya’s burst can be triggered by other characters’ abilities even if they’re not on the field, so if you use her burst first and then her e you can still trigger her burst with xingqiu’s rainswords

@@hungvi3325 Lol I main Zhongli and I still think he was good before the buff. I mean I'm fine with him getting buffed cause I'm not a huge whale and he helps me out quite a lot, even moreso after the buff. But now he's literally op in almost every comp. The situation with him started the powercreep that's happening right now but y'all still want it to get even worse. Why do you feel like every character that's coming next must dish out crazy numbers while being even stronger than all the previous ones? People keep complaining about every single character, even before their freaking release. Tell me how is that okay?

They seem to forget her dmg is spread across her 5 hit atk and not her charged shot like ganyu. Like for example her first hit sends 2 arrows with half dmg each so ofc you wont see big numbers. You need to actually add the numbers over time to see the dmg.

Mihoyo was smart about creating her. They made two of her normals really stand out and pumped up the damage, so you miss the 3 and 4ks

@@colejacobowitz2288 i mean...my C0 Yoimiya R1 Thundering Pulse never drops below 10k, unless the enemies have big pyro Resistance. My Yoimiya stays around 13-50k without supports, 23-78k with them in Abyss :)
Maybe that's because I have high investment in my Yoi though.
I do think yoimiya needs high investment to compare with other characters

It's the crit DMG bow that is so op too
For the samurai on 12-1 first half you want to just kill the around the same time or within couple seconds of killing one, just try to split the damage evenly even tho it's kinda hard since they keep dashing away from each other
For me both of them luckily got trapped in Ayaka’s burst together and that was it for them😂😅

Actually legit, I got her 75TH pull yesterday (I saved for her) and that stupid doctor took all of my naku weeds so I went farming in other worlds. I had 700 books saved for her and right after she hit level 80 I got Jean on standard banner. Guess what? NO MORE BOOKS. Now Jean is stuck at lvl 70 until I get more books-
(Also Yoimiya only has a 4 star bow and since I don’t have good artifacts I gave her my best crappy artifacts but she still hits nearly 10k everytime, I’m ar 46 and so happy that I saved for her lol)

Cuz moga is not really a meta content creator he just looking at the damage and appreciates the characters but not the viability and potential of the character but yoi is literally one of the best option if your not a meta slave and and just want to play hard in open world.

Her decent damage and fast rate of fire combined makes her a very good boss killer imo even if she's single target (even with mostly f2p weapon and C0 she's effective in said role)...may not be as good at Abyss due to the single target attacks but against bosses she definitely will shine, especially with good team comps.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by how strong Yoimiya actually is.
I just pulled for her cuz why not and I don't rlly need any more broken characters since I have Ganyu, Hu Tao, Eula, and Ayaka with pretty damn good investment since I have 1.4 - 1.5 grade artifact sets on all of them (see OkCode's measurement system for artifact quality).
When I use them with broken supports like Zhongli, Kazuha, Bennett, Xingqiu, and Venti - they all just feel incredibly strong.
And, I must say, Yoimiya is right in that ballpark.
Theoretically speaking, she may fall a bit short of Hu Tao but MAN.
My Yoimiya is only lvl 70/70 with talents at lvl 5-4-2 with an R1 Skyward Harp and she's already hitting 27k-30k on a single normal attack.
Plus, her 4pc Shimenawa set only has a 1.3 grade so her artifacts could obviously be a lot better -
just need more time to farm the new artifact domain.
But overall, I'm thoroughly pleased with Yoimiya.
Its sad how you have to disgustingly lie to make people hate yoimiya less lol. Compared to hutao, shes a piece of garbage lol. Yanfei can easily out dmg this so-called-5-star 🤡🤡

@@lilhandsome9496 yeah I got albead day one of his banner. He is amazing and full friendship level and triple crowned. When you can just pop a field down and every blossom is 10k added to whoever is in it attacking. He is worth it.
@@genshinaddict3689 I got zhongli, I still prefer albeado, he’s unique to play and fun. Plus his skill is a 2 second recharge and his ult is up in like 3 sword swings after the skill. So he is very spamable. Plus his skill direct hit can stagger big enemies and bounce small ones.
That is super exciting to see. I have a level 80 Yoimiya with level 8 Attacks & Skill. She is using a level 90 R3 Rust. I am working on getting her the materials for her final ascension. I am really enjoying her.

Eh not rly. He gets money from people that donate him on stream. 2 weeks are generaly enogh to prepare for a new character if you farm right (ok Baal may be a bit a problem with her ascension mats + new electro boss -- adds a reshin cost).
But you can pre-farm other shit.

The hamayumi bow from Inazuma shop can be a good option if you're not using shimenawa set!
You can even use some 3-Star weapons too, they can also be quite useful, I think there was a 3* Bow with Crit DMG, and there was also Slingshot with Crit%
Shimenawas could benefit alot of characters moga. Plunging attack could be used for xiao,normal attacks for fischl together with oz,maybe even ganyu,eula,and so much more
Xiao, Fischl, and Eula are burst reliant. Only Ganyu can use Shimenawa.
I've tried Shimenawa with Xiao and it's kinda hard to control because he has a 70 energy cost burst (turns into 85 or 100 because of Shimenawa). I will try to pair him with Sucrose and favonius book as battery though, maybe it'll work.
@@anname7373 eula is burst user if u want her bid damage. If u want dps with her normal attacks,then ahimenawa works. Fichl uses her skill for oz,then does physical dps. After using xiaos skills,use his burst for attacks.

I'm wondering how well Yoimiya will do with Baal and/or Kokomi as supports when they come out. I am concerned that Kokomi seems like little more than 5 star Barbara but we'll see how things turn out. Mihoyo will probably release a new artifact set as well so who knows?
