I arrived here exactly for the same reason, because I am sure that we took initially the idea from beavers, but the water volume is ‘slightly’ different. It felt unreasonable to think everything was built within the water, but then now I want to understand how can the water be blocked or diverted in order to allow the construction of a dam, and how later it can be redirected where the dam has been built.
