- In this video I wanted to give a quick & simple breakdown on how I change the front cover gasket on the TSI motor, it's much easier than it looks and you don't have to disconnect any fuel or evap lines.
Solid!
This is the exact same place my 2013 Volkswagen cc is leaking oil form. Thanks so much for this video
thank you for the public service announcement. I am about to be doing this but I think my water pump is the primary cause idrk tho
Oil leaks will make your water pump fail. If you've got an oil leak and and a failing water pump, you need to fix both. Otherwise, the water pump will eventually fail again
Do you have links to the stuff needed?
I wish I did but I hadn't saved anything. Let me know if you still need and I'll go track down my receipts for you
Hey man, was hoping you could help me track down the O ring that you mention after the cam seal. IDK the size of that and looking online I dont know which one it is.
I am getting a new timing cover that comes with the squarish gasket already. Thanks!@@hoganlarvey
Thank you for making and posting this video
Great straight to the point video! Do you have to do anything when reinstalling the cam sensor?
What RTV Sealant do you recommend?
I cant really speak to other brands but I've always used permatex with no issues
I had excessive oil coming from the bottom of mine but I thought it was from spilling oil when adding. I’ll have to double check now and probably just change it anyways.
How much you spilling my guy 😂
