Nice set of videos. I love the old equipment! I'll have to try to make it to this show next year. It seems that they always put a twist in the big belts, but I wonder why: To improve friction on the drive pulley? To help it stay on? or some other reason?
Thank you. Stayed tuned, there are more videos from this show coming. As for the twist in the belts, I never think to ask anyone when I have the chance. My best guess is to stabilize the belt so that it doesn't walk off of the pulley.
