Probably my favorite thing is how Nahida's E has non-combat applications, letting you pick up nature items from a distance and mind-reading every single Sumeru NPC. It helped make her feel even more unique than she already was, even some characters in limited events like Windblume could be mind-read. Easily the character I use the most out of anyone now because she's just too good not to use, aside from a lack of reactions like in a Cryo team.
I hope they continue the overworld trend on other archons.

Her, Yelan, and Kazuha are some of my favorite characters because they're so absurdly strong, but also just really fun and comfy to play in overworld. People tend to focus solely on meta and abyss runs, but proportionately you spend so little of your playtime in the abyss that it's really important to me how fun a character is to just run around with. Having them be meta is just a very nice bonus.
My exploration team is Nahida (of course), Kuki, Kokomi, and Ayaka for speed. Also freezing enemies helps them end their living a lot sooner 🤣
Exploration was the reason I fell in love with this game in the first place. I remember losing sleep those days and even running enemy and ore routes back in 1.x with friends. Yelan, Wanderer, Yaoyao, and Kazuha is great for general exploration and movement. I sometimes swap Yaoyao with Zhongli if I'm specifically doing ore runs. Other times I could use Nahida for quick cliff plants like the Violetgrass. There's just so much you could do in the overworld that I wouldn't be surprised if they release a character that's kinda on the weak side, but has some interesting overworld use like Sayu.

One thing I always found interesting about Nahida was the flip from hate to hype. When she was first "introduced" there were a lot of people who didn't like her (for multiple different reasons). And then, by the time the 3.0 archon quest was over, everyone was ready to got to war against the sages for her. Honestly, one of the most impressive 180s I've ever seen, and all before her kit was revealed too.

The reason is Chinese TCs have told for ages, that her kit is underwhelming and people will roll for her only because of story.
What happened later is that western youtubers got a paycheck and western TC'ers got a warning for discussing leaks.
The sheer amount of trash-talk directed by them to other dendro-units makes the whole year of their opinions/guides questionable

Nahida took the spot for “Most Adorable Character” from Klee for me. Nahida’s animations are just too cute and her voice lines too (one of my favs being when she gets hit and says “I’m seeing stars”). Coupled with how crazy her abilities are and she is now my top priority whenever she does (hopefully) come back.

Archons are really on another level, because every time a new one comes out I get completely addicted to them, even when the team has nothing to do with their kit I still put it on just because they are that good
They are also the easiest characters to play

@@Aaron_Kuroiwa yep, I love the high uptime on thier skills. Zhongli has 20s duration with 12s cd. Raiden has 25s duration with 9s cd and Nahida has 25s duration with 5s cooldown. Makes playing with them super comfy
Then explain Venti and Zhongli. They’re two of the worst characters in the game. Anyone who pulls them has questionable intelligence and shouldn’t be trusted with gacha games or literally anything.

@koharu i agree that kazuha has overtaken venti but it does not mean venti has become bad. With sumeru most of the enemies can be dragged by venti. And also when venti does work (which mostly works on at least one side of Abbys) he's the best character in the game. He's just becomes a auto win button

Nahida is one of my favorite characters to throw into a team. Even at C0 she is ridiculously good. She can drive and she can be a near-broken support. Love everything about her. I have no complaints at all.
yup. She's great at c0, her c1 is an amazing QoL upgrade, and c2 is if you want to try-hard with her lineups. XD

I would summarise it like this:
Venti - Archon of crowd control
Zhongli - Archon of survivability (shields)
Raiden - Archon of Battery
Nahida - Archon of Elemental reactions
No one is better than them at their specific niche
Bros never heard of Kazuha

i love how nahida really struggles to do damage on her own but if you put her in a team with other characters she skyrockets. ~the power of friendship~
Lmao she does more damage than trashy characters like Cyno, Ayaka, Ayato, Yoimiya, Itto, Xiao, Eula, and Wanderer. You’re better off building her as a hypercarry than any of these sad trash bags.

Nahida is one of the few characters in the game that was heavily anticipated and also delivered once they were playable. We all know the clown fiesta that is Dehya, all of her archon quest appearances and all of her actions that drove the plot, only for her to be terrible. The kits of the characters that appear in the story are in the hands of the devs, and some of them are just flat out underwhelming. Nahida is just great, very deserving of T0.
It also helps that Nahida got the absolute utmost attention in beta cycles due to being an archon (Got quite a few buffs to be where she is currently), whereas Dehya they pretty much intentionally seem to have shafted her and gave her a bunch of placebo changes that in the grand scheme of things didn't fix anything.

So was Yae, but unfortunately because of the problems with her kit she isn’t used nearly as much as Nahida or Shogun.
Her archon status help her a lot, so far only archon & fatui have the biggest marketing point in this game.

The story quest at the moment of her first banner was soooo perfect. Everyone knew we were going for a big fight with the Akademia, people were angry and want to beat the sage to save Nahida.
Personally, I rush all the 3.2 Quest and the moment Nahida was free, I just spent all 120 fates I had to truly save her by making her in my team.
it was a great decision to pull for Nahida... I think she is a great pull for anyone and is just an amazing character.

100 euros well spend i got her on first 10 pulls and then i got her weapon later on the raiden rerun her dendro damage with crit damage can do 20 k in one attack with just boring artifacts that i just had and she still keeps geting better with every new artifact i get for her

All things consider, when Focalor, Murata and Tsaritsa comes, those 3 have bigger shoes to fill in since those 3 are in an Element that's loaded with great rosters

For sure, the remaining 3 archons have major competition to outsell. Most likely they would need to apply most of their element, compared to Venti and Zhongli whose elements are only triggers.
Focalor either has to outheal Kokomi or abuse the 3 hit rule more than Yelan/Xinqiu. With Dehya's kit, Hoyo probably wants to focus on survivability in making future enemies than a dps race (tbf I'd rather have that than the crap they're pulling with Wenut). It would be odd that her healing potential isn't on par or better than Kokomi/Qiqi.
Murata has to either outshine Bennett as a an atk buffer or bring huge dmg per screenshot numbers to a new height. Pyro has become less of the meta, with Dendro enforcing quantity of reactions rather than quality (how big each hit is).
Tsaritsa has to set a new standard for critical hits. I'd like to imagine she'll freeze time (not abyss time obv) or slow down enemies (since cryo slowing things down hasn't really been expanded upon)
I disagree about yoimiya being the best pyro unless when enemy is flying

Not only is the strongest playable archon a little kid, she's one we've been repeatedly told and even had spelled out to us is the weakest of the archons in combat.
Which actually makes some sense...in actual in-game combat, she's never soloing. She's facilitating her team's abilities.
And in story, every thing she does is part of a team. You even form an ocean's eleven style heist squad to bust her out of prison!
Nahida is unironically my favorite Genshin character, and the one i want to see as much of as possible.
I could go on and on about how good of a character she is, about how it's easy to form a connection with her because her themes of isolation and wanting SO MUCH to help people is relatable...
...of course now they've written themselves into a corner since if there's ever any information about stuff we need to learn Nahida should logically be the first person we contact and not doing so immediately becomes a plot hole...but still.

Nahida is not only the Dendro archon, but also the archon of wisdom and has a direct link to Irminsul, the tree that forms all lay lines and contains the entire knowledge of Teyvat. So technically, Nahida should know everything about everything that ever happens or has happened -> great calamity 500 years ago, Kaenri'ah, Celestia, heavenly principals, even what the Tsaritsa and Fatui are conspiring against.
I just play her for her incredible personality and voice lines. Not to mention the dendro swing
You were spot on with Nahida being a great character in the quest helping make her more appealing to pull for, even before I knew how stupid her kit was I just wanted this precious little radish and give her all the hugs. I luckily got her pretty early and she has not left my team since. Adorable, powerful and helpful in the overworld, what's not to love.
The strongest of the playable Archons is not just a kid.
They show us that WISDOM is strength.
Nahida outplaying everyone around her mentally in the story is amazing.
nahida is one of the best supports i’ve ever had and i genuinely cannot imagine my team without her i love her sm
I know this is a bit of a strange topic in twitter but one of the reason I love Nahida so much is her references to my culture. Most of her references from the peepal to vajra symbols to the bell to the dharmic terminology, to her Sanskrit based kit revolving around everything that keeps you inside a Samsara even though her story was about helping us escape it. Her name 'Kusanali' referencing the Jataka Tales, one of our prominent classical Indian Literature. As an Indian, Nahida is absolutely precious to me.
I didn't realise that most of her references actually Samsara-based! Maybe it will have to do with the larger story, because of how even the Archon of Knowledge is still "stuck" in Samsara - that is Teyvat? - if you will? In relation to the latest Archon Quest (4.2), I wonder whether basically Nahida we see is actually her Samsara version, while Kusanali is her Nirvana version. It seems to be a theme if it is.
@@MagisterialVoyager Yup, she is based a lot on Dharmic culture which is really exciting to me and I can rant all day about her among my friends XD. Her kit: (NA: Akara means form or shape in Sanskrit, her skill is a chain which are described as Karmic bonds with Skandah and her Ult is Shrine of Maya - the literal Indian myth, goddess of dream/illusion and the thing that keep people in Samsara irl myth. Shrine of maya also enhance her skill -the karmic bond/chain). Yet, the first part of the archon quest is about her helping us escape Samsara, she and Rukkhadevata are Avatar of Irminsul that are trying to prevent disasters. Isn’t that exactly what avatar of Gods in Indian mythology do too? Take an avatar form to walk among humans and help humans to escape Samsara and prevent disasters. Especially Vishnu who is also associated with Dreams. Also her paraphrasing Indian philosophy and morality based stories is funny (the blind men and the elephant-the blind men and the boarshroom and on).
Sorry, I’m ranting, I’m very fond of this character.
Also, that’s an interesting topic indeed, since she is the avatar of Irminsul, I imagine we will still see her around especially if they are pushing the time-loop/Samsara lore as they hinted in Fontaine.
@@OzEtlar Oh, feel free to talk about Nahida, I really adore her, too. I suppose we can widen it because the concept of Archon as gods was so confusing to me who came from Abrahamic religion, but of course they're basically "the avatar", since they have physical body and are among their own people (unless maybe Raiden who literally put out her doll outside and Focalors, as we've now learned). Isn't it a bit eerie, though, that Nahida's saying "The Temple of Wisdom" is basically, and correct me if I'm wrong, the Play of Life (I forget the term, is it 'lila'?) Because we're in it, our enemies are in it, and they're bound by her chains of Skill.
I want to add some small things that people tend to forget when praising her
She by herself hac unlock SO MANY hidden dialogues in Sumeru, From Archon quests, Story quests, Event quests and even Hangout quests. There's tons of Hidden dialogues Mihoyo added which probably costed them a LOT of money, considering there's like 4 different dialogues and 100+ voiced NPC's
Not only that, she makes farming tedious, just Hold E on everything and bam. You don't need to climb up mountains and even glide down, just take a picture.
All of her personality, Gameplay, Quality of Life, Strengths and Demo helped fuel her as the most lovable and useful character in genshin :D

I think the devs definitely stepped up their game for sumeru and the dendro. They made traveling easier, they wrote a cohesive story and utilized the characters better this time around compared to inazuma where it was riding on fanservice. I'm now excited for Fontaine and the hydro archon. Hope they can catch magic twice.
Nahida is just very convenient to slot in. She can dish out huge numbers while also amplifying the reactions they do. Her range is massive that it can easily cover the whole floor of the abyss. Combat aside she even has QoL capabilities which allows you to gather materials efficiently in the overworld without having to frantically run and climb around the map. Absolutely one hell of a unit. ♥
Also I just kind of thought that maybe Tighnari can also be a part of this series. Honestly everytime I see a video or clip of him in TH-cam many sing praises for him. Many people don't mind losing 50/50 to him as well more than the other 5 stars in standard banner. The are only three reasons I could think of that people might not want him. One they already have Ganyu, two they don't like Dendro, and three they don't like his gameplay. Other than that his numbers are great and very competitive.
You could say that her only drawback is is against large groups of low HP enemies, like some abyss floors with lota of mob treasure hoarders and eremites. Since she HAS to be on the field to apply dendro to new enemies. But I suppose thats more of an inconvenience than a weakness
You should add "in multiple waves", since she is effective when dealing with large groups, though not when they come in waves
She has 6s skill cooldown though. For me, she has barely any trouble with waves. But yeah, when there's more than 5 enemies at once, shit gets dicey

Let's say the floor has 10 enemies, so the first camera she mark 5 enemies, and then the sacrificial book reset proc and she can camera again. Is it working? Does she mark 10 enemies?

Seriously, the moment I did this Archon Quest, while pulling for her banner, she literally took the no.1 spot of being my favorite character. I became too emotional as I progressed through the quest T_T
One thing to note with the burst is you get em based on the total em of the highest party member meaning in a hyperbloom team u stack em on the electro trigger and stack personal damage on nahida and nahida still gives 250 em to whoever is active.
that's a bad decision - you'll have plenty of cores lying around just to rupture simultaneously in 2+seconds and only 2 of them will deal damage

The reason why I wished for Nahida was because of her Character Demo. The music, the visual really struck my heart and immediately went "Yeah you're coming home with me"

Lmao why would you want Ayato? He’s actually the worst hydro. Candance and Barbara are better investments than him. Using him would only taint Nahida and any team she’s on. Just use Xingqiu, Childe, Kokomi, and/or Yelan like a normal person.

I’ve never seen a character retroactively change an element as quickly with nahida and dendro.
Yeah. Cryo is now dead. Anyone who still uses trashy cryo characters should be banned from playing lol. You’re better off building Dehya, Eula, or any geo character than a cryo.
Also another reason people play her: she's just too cute to not pull for. She's the cutest short character now with Klee and Yaoyao.
I remember before pulling her, I had to finish her quest first because I want to have the feeling of having to save her storywise first before I can actually play her as a character. It felt amazing

something you mentioned that is wrong is that her 1st ascension passive grants the active character bonus EM of the party member with the highest em stat, "not hers".

My Favorite minor detail of Nahida, when she dashes you can hear musical notes
What I find really cool about Nahida is that she solved her own problem. We had to help Venti with his problem, we dragged into Zhongli's problem, Raiden was nothing but a problem (A sexy problem), but still a problem. But Nahida, no, she overcame her problems all by herself.
She stood up for herself, she held her own in a conversation against The Doctor, She cured Collei and Dunyarzad of their Eleazar disease, she got her people to acknowledge her, She showed Scaramouche the truth about his past and that it was The Doctor that betrayed him and not his friend and She gave her people an inspiring speech telling them that they should overcome their pain in reality because it's more rewarding rather than running away from it.

Nahida and Thundering Fury Keqing are one of the best combo ever in fun factor category.

I'm more leaning see more mad at Dehya compared to Eula since most of us use her already expect more new enemies with physical def resistance, even the existence of Mika sadly feel like a dps loss to put on her team while Dehya she still newly out and her kit is...yeah I end up just get her weapon instead get both.

Nahida is my first 5 star(started the game on Nilou banner and just randomly pull ever since). That being said, she is why I chose to continues playing Genshin Impact. Without her, I would have quit long ago from sheer boredom. Collecting mats, killing mobs and anything else, she done it all faster.
Man I chose Nahida as my favorite character since before we knew what Dendro would do, what she looked like, what she did or even her actual name.
And I completely fell in love with her after the archon quest. She's, imo, a perfect execution of a character

I hope on her rerun she got better 4 star option cuz last time I already have them all at C6 so I only get her at C0, next time I really want her to reach C2 to create a monster on and off field support/dps
The only problem i have with Nahida is such a first world problem it's insane: It's that when wave clearing, the enemies die from her mark and subsequent reactions so fast that the next waves arrive before her already short skill cooldown time ends and i can't reapply the mark immediately. It's stupid but i've had quite a few annoying moments because of it lol

That's why we always pull on archons, I'm glad I saved enough to get C2 Nahida and her weapon. she can melt abyss so easily
11:17 Spread and Aggravate are Flat DMG bonuses so they are affected by the Dendro/Electro character's crit, in essence they CAN crit already with C2 Nahida
Nahida completely changed the way I played the game. She's also a great intro to meta play for new players
Lets be real she has THE CUTEST NORMAL ATTACKS!when i first got her i was only using her normal attacks and not to fight i was just in sumeru city pressing my mouse button and screaming from cuteness 🥺🥰😍
Nahida is just amazing, even at C0. That's what I have her on; she's not only my first archon, but the first 5 star I pulled for and got. No regrets whatsoever. Not only is she incredibly cute, with very sweet (and sometimes rather wise and wholesome) voice lines and interesting abilities in the overworld, she's incredibly good to use in battle.
The first few times of using her were really weird, but in the best way. I'd be fighting groups of enemies, mark them all with Nahida, then focus my attention on the big, more dangerous monster of the group. After taking it out I'd turn around to take care of smaller monsters - only to find them gone. They died from Tri-Karma Purification damage while I was fighting the big guy.
There is one HUGE downside to Nahida, though. Once you start using her, you won't stop, and you're going to get used to her utilities. And if you have to take her out of the team for some reason, you'll feel it. She's much like Zhongli in that regard.
Climbing or swimming to harvest stuff feels like a bother at this point, I'm used to getting them from a distance with Nahida. And whenever I'm on the Nahida-less side of the abyss, I can really feel it, because unless I go up to an enemy and attack them, they don't take damage.
So yeah. Nahida is very powerful and provides multiple quality of life utilities, but she will spoil you rotten.
Nahida brought me back to the game, after being away for months. Haven't looked back. She is my favourite character in the game and deals serious damage with almost any "soup" team you can think of 🥰👌🏻

I got nahida primarily because she was just too adorable to skip. Was gonna get her regardless of if she was bad or not. Needless to say I don't regret my decision.
Nahida is the best Dendro character in the game. I don't regret pulling for her on her first banner.
I loved her so much that I got her 3 times in 30 rolls.
EDIT: I mostly just wanted to get a good Dendro character because I wanted to use my Lisa in a hyperbloom team. Named it "Lisa's garden".
Nahida is the flowers in the garden.
Kokomi/Xingqiu waters the plants.
Lisa of course is the gardener (on field driver).
And I mostly used a shield character to protect them from interruption.
Best decision I ever made for my account. Spiral Abyss had never been easier.

11:20 aggravate and spread already can crit - their damage is added to the attack that triggered it before calculating the crit. So yeah, they do crit

I'm glad I ended up pulling for her since when she came out I stopped playing Genshin for a year and I hadn't unlocked Sumeru and now I use her on my main team and absolutely love HyperBloom
Loss of words to describe how beautifully designed is the concept of Nahida. Such a powerful and adorable character with an equally powerful storyline. I'm glad i pulled for her. Hyperbloom with nahida is so fun that it makes me not use hypercarry raiden.
I'm very curious about how the Hydro Archon will work, given that we already have extremely overpowered units in the Hydro element already. With how Hoyoverse makes the Archons heavily scale over what their element is specialized on(except for Zhongli, for some reason), I'd say that Focalors will require tons of HP (Maybe even increase the HP of other party members? 👀), perhaps she could even heal. That's just some ideas though

Since the Hydro roster is increasing with units scaling specifically with HP more so than any other stat, I can't help but feel like Focalors will provide the best HP buff in all the game, since we don't have one yet.
AND since the Traveller seems to be getting better with each addition of a region, Hydro Traveller may well be the second best HP buffer we'll have - second to Focalors, of course. It'll still stay in touch with how Dendro Traveller is still viable even without Nahida, but of course Nahida is still the best in terms of application and support.
If she were to be a healer tho, I would hope that it's minor in comparison to already existing healers. Since Zhongli's existence, other notable shielders have been easily considered worse or lacklustre in comparison to him, and if the Hydro Archon were to become a healer, it'll just diminish the existence and use of the other healers - making their pull worth very trivial. So I passionately hope that the Hydro Archon fills in this HP buffing niche so it doesn't contend against anyone else, and gives her some great utility as a support, whilst keeping units like Kokomi, Barbara (that's two Hydro healers in the game, I just noticed), Bennet and etc still viable in the long run.
We might get an idea when we get the Hydro traveler. Cause traveler kit is usually kinda similar to the archon.
My speculation is some buff that scales of HP. Reduce Hydro resistance and buff hydro damage(kinda like Shenhe). I don't think they might overlap Kokomi or Xingqui Yelan. A Hydro Shielder would be really cool though and maybe even trap enemies in bubbles like the hydro mages.

She was also the first double 5 star 10 pull i ever got, which solidified her place as my favourite character, next banner i will go for her c2, even before getting Nilou, i have enough wishes saved up
Nahida is best archon, from story point she is most helpful, she is cute, she is strong and her power over dreams and illusion are outright OP

I imagine a versatile hydro applicator who can apply both slow hydro like Kokomi's skill/Ayato's burst on skill and fast hydro like Xingqiu/Yelan on burst or vice versa, has more AOE than both of them (AOE Xingqiu is kinda broken though), can heal as good as Kokomi but can crit, or can't crit but can buff HP at C0.

I still have no idea how to do the correct dendro reactions, I just use different characters with Nahida and somehow it worked out.

Nahida was my first 5 star.i started playing halfway through nilous banner to get nahida after my friend showed me her. She made everything so easy, especially after i got yae(pulling for layla) and then raiden.
I’m proud of having her and Ei at C2 with their exclusive weapons I’m planning on teaming them with other archons Sucrose and Zhongli when I start Sumeru quest (I only unlocked the region for the festival and Lisa events).
How come sucrose is an archon
As much as I love her and even have her as part of my abyss team I do feel like she was released too early into dendro's life as she is an archon it's almost a rule that they are the best at something and since she's a dendro applyer she makes other dendro units unneeded as she's just does what you need
she is a dendro buffer and lacks of on-field presence. you need alhaitham or tighnari for optimal spread. nilou for optimal dendro seeds, and a disaster kuki hyperbloom
The only thing she can be lacking (which is a debatable point if I were to say) is that her Dendro application is so prominent that she makes it hard for anemo characters to swirl other elements. However, that can easily be fixed by applying and swirling electro or hydro first to gain its benefits.
Another, albeit debatable, is that her application as a support for a hypercarry lacks for multi wave content. This can be seen for people like cyno, but for quickswap teams, she has no problems there. Not to mention, her E skill has a very short cooldown so it's pretty unnoticeable if you just use her again.
Honestly, Nahida is just, all around, so strong. There's really no contender in where she shines as both a dendro applier or as a dendro support. If a character were to provide better support, but less dendro application, she'll still be top tier. It's quite astounding how good she is within her element. The only downside would be, she doesn't do much outside of anything else (except for melt comps).
I don't think Hoyoverse has any plans making a much better unit for dendro application than Nahida, as she is an archon and representative of her element. The only thing that future dendro units can provide is specific niches and utilities that she can't. This is seen for Yaoyao in healing, Alhaitham in DPS and Baizhu for shielding (I hope). But this may be a bad outcome for future dendro characters since it'll be inevitable that they'll be compared to her and her strong prowess in her abilities.
I mean unless we break off another branch, can't clone Nahida and having her on both teams for events or abyss would be great.
Thanks for the video! It would seem I need to adjust my play style a bit. My daily driver is Nahida, Raiden, Yanfei and Kokomi. I use Raiden to infuse Nahida's skill for the instant reaction, followed by Kokomi for preemptive healing/hydro application/raise Yanfei's attack(Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers) and then use Yanfei with her boosted attack, Raiden's electro bonus and whatever random bonus the Widsith decides to give.
I discovered nahida through the archon quest and was dead-set on getting her. How happy I was when I realise that she might just be one of the best unit in the game, but alas, my only good electro unit was fishl, still good but lackluster.
Few patches later I get raiden and now I simply cannot go back. And I was playing Hutao w/ homa and zonghli before so that's saying something
I initially thought I'll skip Nahida. But the Sumera storyline really made me really like Nahida and now she is my no. 1 favourite character in the game. Her character teaser really made me almost cry.
And gameplay wise she is insanely broken. She is just too good at everything she does. But this is how Archons should be in my opinion. They should be the strongest in their elements. They should be absurdly strong cause they are literally Gods.

I lost the 50/50 on Nahida's banner to Diluc, and I'm just hoping she'll be reran soon so my Cyno doesn't have to rely on DMC. Also, if Nahida's rerun could feature Kuki so I could get my first copy of her that'd be great lol
apparently nahida and nilou will be on phase 1 of 3.6 with kuki, layla and dori.
Just beware to some domain clearing where many wave of squishy enemies where your cyno kill so fast you have to switch back to nahida again even though you haven’t use a lot of cyno burst
Nahida is really good with Cyno. But a bit worse if there are waves of enemies cause you need to swap back to reapply Dendro, ending Cyno burst really early. I usually run quickbloom so that i could still atleast keep doing some reaction damage.
The release of Alhaitham also just made her the premium sub DPS of an overpowered team, so her rerun is doing numbers now.
In my opinion, A C0 Raiden actually plays in similar way to other electro characters, providing a strong personal kit on top of their electro application, which is used to enable other characters to do more damage, similar to hydro.
You have Raiden national, the electro application is used to enable XL to overvape through EC.
You have soup (EX: Raiden/yelan/kazuha/Bennett), in which the electro app enables the anemo character to trigger overvape.
You have Eula comps, in which the electro app does superconduct which increases eula's damage.
Even in hypercarry. The electro app enables kazuha (pyro infused) to do overloads, which actually contribute quite a bit for the team's dps.
While not as popular for Raiden, you can also use her in taser. In which electro app does EC (electro charged) which enables the anemo character to do much more damage through triple swirls and chain EC reactions.
It's when Raiden is high con, C3R1 or something, it starts to feel like all she does is damage. All her cons do is increse her own personal damage, and by a lot. And to make the best use of that extra damage, it's better to use her in team comp that focuses on her own damage, which is hypercarry. While she still enables overloads in this comp, her damage becomes so high that it doesn't contribute to the team dps percentage as much.
That's why I don't really like her cons, they kinda feel like they limit her options, even though it's just a damage increase, and you can still play her in other comps.
I realized a while back i main the same characters vars and his editor does, Yoimiya and Keqing. Or idk if keqing is just his favorite character.. anyway I enjoy ur content and cozy vibes.
Nahida was my first 5 star (78 pity!) and I have never and probably will never regret pulling for her. On her next rerun, pull for her!

I was lucky to pull her on her first banner, I slotted her into my Keqing team and I don't regret it a single bit.
I don’t like her character design at all but it makes sense in the lore and how she came to be be so it’s fine I just wish she had like the Ganyu or Yoimiya Keqing body type and I’d be content with that. Otherwise I think she’s a perfect design character for Dendro. Great story arc. Great new element. Great personality and clothing wise great detail design and abilites. She’s pretty amazing overall. This makes me hype for hydro archon cuz I know her design looks wise will be better.

I don't blame you since I was, too, sceptical of an archon with a child model. And God, I was fairly aware of which audience Lolis were directed towards, and how some of those fans are... questionable in their interests, so I find this nitpick reasonable.
The only reason I pulled for her is because I found her endearing in the story and found her a joy to befriend. Honestly, one of my favourite characters today, really. But it is uncomfortable when some nahida mains go as far as call her their wife despite the fact... you know...
Just because she's 500, and legal in age, doesn't negate the fact that she still looks and acts like a child!!! This goes for all the other children!
Will the hydro archon be able to compete with the current roster of hydro characters? Kokomi is already one of the best healers and Yelan/Xingqiu are the top hydro support/off field DPS in the game. Its gonna be tough to beat them in those categories.
Probably the most loved character of GI along with HuTao. Since I got her, there's not one time that she doesn't go to the spiral abyss every 15 days, she's so good

Just starting playing genshin and I'm saving hard for nahida. She is just so strong with so many comps its crazy.
When i first saw her during teasers and trailers, i wanted her just bc shes a smolie and i figured since i got Klee in 2.8 i figured i could go for all of them. Funnier even when it became clear that shes the Dendro-Archon.
But then i saw her in the Archon quests and damn i loved her mix of her being incredibly smart and wise but at the same time dropping childs talk like its nothing. Of course mixed with the sad back story. So i spared all i could to get her for sure but waited till she's officially free from her prison in 3.2 before pulling her.
Now she'll be ever my favorite character in Genshin i'm sure. xD
Ultimately there are two key factors that lead to me skipping her. Her dendro element and her small character model. Dendro teams have become my least favorite team to use beating out what was once freeze and not a fan of the children models. I'd like to have her for the sake of having all archon but cants really justify the primos if I dont ever intend to use her. Same for Nilou, love the kit concept of restricting team building but not a dendro fan. Super fun idea would love to see it with other characters
Nahida actually does have a little downside. Because she applies more dendro (1.5 against 1.0 from Dmc, Collei etc.) you can’t swirl electro after applying quicken if you go with usual rotation where you start with Nahida. It a good thing in anything not related to swirl so it’s more of a “suffering form success” kind of thing.
easy, then have 2 electro.. i normally swirl with Fischl and Raiden
You can just go without anemo support. But if you really want some swirl, just start with the electro and swirl before going with Nahida. It's not really a downside since you can easily manage it with a little change to your rotation

Id like her so much more if her tap E had bigger AOE and if she wasn't a child, its an issue for me for two reasons, i hate her design and also she's small which makes exploration and combat less comfortable, if she wasn't as strong as she is i wouldn't wish for her

Little Nahida is the reason I started playing. She won me over and before long I rolled for her.

First five-star was Kazuha in 2.8, and when I got Zhongli, those two were my standard party bookends. Then I got Diluc off of standard banner, and he gradually became my DPS. I pulled for Nahida off the back of my favor for "green" and "grass/plant/nature", and even at C0 was useful for setting up the myriad of reactions Dendro has. _Then_ I got the Shogun, who with a reappreciated (and soon enough, C6'd) Xingqiu became my new damage setup... Shogun/Xingqiu/Nahida/Zhongli is _explosive._ Now, when will I finish up the post-Archon quests of Inazuma to allow myself to see the Sumeru storyline...
If Focalors hydro app is good then a three archon hyperbloom (I don't have Zhongli) is what I want, nay must have. Great vid as usual Vars.

I think Tighnari's a DPS and was going to be a standard character, so less people pulled on his banner, and Nahida was the first proper dendro support that was dynamic and fit well with so many teams
