    Very sad night. Yes, I cried with my Warriors family, but that was the WARRIORS BEST game all year ❤. Thank you for covering Kuminga. I've always said from Draft Day, he was going to be special.

    Nothing like telling a compelling story Swish. Using a creative selection of clips to set the context in the intro, you laid down the narrative and made the case. Wow, fantastic. Thank you.

    Warriors 7th picks since 1969:
    Chris Mullin
    Steph Curry
    Harrison Barnes
    Jonathan Kuminga
    At this point, just trade for the 7th pick every year.
    Edit: That's Chris MULLIN, not "Mullins," just caught that in your video.

    This guy is 21 and I believe that because he came into a winning, ball sharing culture that he will be one of the more most impactful, effient superstars in history. If you were to pick some combo of MJ/Gianniss/Kobe to be the NBA future then JK is the perfect model. Over the top I know but what I believe.

    • @SwishCulture
      @SwishCulture  ปีที่แล้ว

      His father was not a professional. Didier was a very good basketball player, but a family who knew mostly hunger and poverty wont have access to the same facilities. He would be lucky to watch highlights of Kobe for a half hour...but yes, his dad (who could have played in college) gave him some basics since he was 2.

    Great vid, but just wanna say, i think JK has got it easier in terms of scoring. Coming off the bench and scoring against the 2nd unit, for a good/decent scorer it's easier and to play alongside Steph, it shouldn't be that hard for a player of JK's caliber.

    • @SwishCulture
      @SwishCulture  ปีที่แล้ว

      He's either coming off the bench or he's playing next to Steph. really can't be both. Klay is playing next to Steph snd can't sgore. Draymond same thing. Wiggins. i could go on. Matter of fact, no one has been scoring this season. What he's doing is of his own merit. Ive seen him dojble teamed leaving both Steph and Klay wide open. He doesn't need them to score imo.

    What's up Swish, your arch nemisis. Under normal circumstances I usually break down and analyze your commentaries, but in this case, I have to agree with you. Statistically he's right on par with Black Mamba in his career, with a championship already under his belt. He has a great motor and he plays with heart and energy. He can at times look adolescent in certain situation on the floor, but that comes with being 21 years old. The only major flaw I see that sticks out, is that he can sometimes be incredibly silly on the floor, which can sometimes provoke adolescent mistakes during pockets in the game. If he can remove that silly behavior from the basketball floor, the NBA would be in some real trouble. I feel it's time to trade Andrew Wiggins and remove the handcuffs off Kuminga (it's time).

    Replace Kerr before making any trade... he might trade necessary players needed for warriors before he leaves warriors... Better trade Wiggins, Chrispaul, Payton , Corey Joseph, & Looney. Trade Wiggins for Markkanen straight up or with Corey Joseph. Trade Chrispaul , payton & Looney for De Rozan & Vucevic.

    Kuminga turns into his childhood hero KOBE... that would be epic! Just needs to focus on the handles and he'd be unstoppable!
    Kuminga is a special talent but it's not the fit they're looking for... that was Wagner. IMO, they'll let this season play out and then blow it up this summer. They need to do it now... they're not a championship team... unless they make a huge trade!
    Go all in!
    LaVine Drummond for Klay plus pick or TJD. Next CP3 Looney for Simmons!
    Curry Podz Joseph
    LaVine GP2 Moody
    Kuminga Wiggins Santos
    Draymond Saric Garuba

    You know comparing stats from 2000s and 2020s is totally absurd , the game is so offensively favourable . And the defense is very soft so its absurd to compare kobes stat to this soft era.

    • @SwishCulture
      @SwishCulture  ปีที่แล้ว

      The average team offensive rating was 107 vs 112 for the 2020s. That's a 5 point differential across an entire team. I made the distinction that JK's coming off the bench, taking less shots and on top of that, shoots the same number of threes. Yes, it is comparable.

    Don’t compare Kobe and kaminga. They played in 2 totally different eras. Kaminga is playing in the pace and space 3 point happy no defense era where teams scoring 150 in a non overtime game isn’t even shocking anymore. Back in Kobe’s young days, there use to be a saying that first team to 100 usually wins.
