Today we kick off our 10th-anniversary season as we make history with a groundbreaking debut in Spain at the iconic Ricardo Tormo Circuit alongside Volrace. Set against the stunning backdrop of Valencia, this inaugural event promises to be a landmark in Drift Masters history. Over 30,000 fans are expected to pack into the circuit, creating an electric atmosphere that will be felt all across the continent.
Tomorrow we'll be back exclusively live on Red Bull TV for our Round 1 battle action, but before we get to our main day and crown our first winner of the season, it's time to see who will make it through today's Qualifying session, right here on the Drift Masters TH-cam channel. And don't forget that today we'll also be seeing our first all-new Drift Masters Qualifying Challenge go down right after the end of our Qualifying session.

Pretty wild track to start the Season. Too bad you axed the run in Germany this year. I was there the last three times and enjoyed it very much.
It was obvious from the start of qualifying that’s a bad layout for drift.
I'm always hype for new tracks but dont know how I feel about this track. Gotta see those battles first to make opinion.
about this quali.. it felt like no one knew what the judges wanted, not spectators, not commentators or even drivers themselfs. Every run that lookd amazing got 75-85p and pretty meh runs got 85-95 and nobody knows why. I'm not telling that judges are bad, I'm sure there's a reason for that but it would be nice to have even some explanation before runs what the judges are looking for and what mistakes get huge penalty.
Top4 battles felt so forcen and for some reason it wasn't even finished. AAnd I hope that Dave was wrong when he was telling who get thos extra points, Wiecek getting more points than Heinonen just doesnt make any sence.
Hope we get some exiting runs tomorrow😎, DMEC is awesome ❤ but there's still always something to make it better
I absolutely agree with you, especially about the qualification. It seems to me, that there were a little disconnection between the judges and drivers. That's why some decisions were strange, as for аudience.

Drift Masters should hire a new drone pilot. Most of the time the drone camera is so close to the car you can't even see the whole car and where rear tires are in zones and so on.
Sucks to see Conor go out like that, but at least it was issues out of his hands I suppose. I'm looking forward to seeing him in NJ though, he's literally the only reason I'm going to an FD event in person ha.

DMEC streams all the competition for free on Redbull TV, since they are sponsored by Redbull. They haven't streamed it on TH-cam for the last 4 years...
They mention it several times during the qualifying streams and in the description as well.

@@mirosawkaryta2026 Sami nie wiedzieli czego oczekują od toru jak do niego podejść ale jutro pewnie już wszystko sie wyjaśni i przekażą kierowcą czego oczekują trochę przedobrzyli z tym torem nie zapewnia takich emocji jak inne i nie daję jakiś wytycznych co do właściwego toru jazdy z barierami było by łatwiej ale nie warto by na pierwszych zawodach rozwalali sobie auta znając życie dojdą do konsensusu i ustalą optymalną linie i jej warjacje

I’m very sceptical about that, even some top drivers struggled with angle on a straight section. But we’ll see
Finally season started. But I see DriftMasters made some big changes, and there are not good ones. After seeing the final too, the idea of rewarding more the good lead against good chase looks to me very stupid. Most difficult is to chase good, not to lead with fresh air. Also wtf is going on with judging? Some absolutely unexplainable results, both in quali and the tandems. Where is Kevin? Even if he usually favors (a little bit) the Irish lads, his explanations are logical and normal. These guys....? For example there should have been much more OMTs, not only 2. Anyway...thanks guys for broadcasts... We appreciate your work

@@BonoBronck Never. I was referring to the whole event (including tandems), not only to the quali sessions. But, since the tandems were not on TH-cam, I told here...

Great session, shame about all the finnish guys in the chat not having basic sportsmanship, is there nothing you can do about that it really ruins the mood. Just an absolute shower who have no respect for hard work and dont pay any heed to the talent that conor has regardless
