As a nursing student, I was required to witness several operations (this was in the States--Kansas City, Missouri). The absolute scariest for me was a liposuction procedure. While the surgeon was working on the abdomen, the heart rhythm went wild each time the cannula was inserted. It is Not a natural procedure. It is Not something anyone should be doing to their body. If I had a friend that was even thinking about having this done, I would tell them to think again. The risks are too high to do something so unnatural for fashion/trends.
Love the body you have. You'll only have it for a short time. It is like any transportation vehicle really. Why would I want to "pimp my ride?" I can't take my body with me, after all. Be happy. Be healthy. Love yourself and others for Who They Are Inside. Please. Please. Don't do this to yourself or your loved ones.

As an old ER nurse, in my experience ( remember I mostly saw complications secondary to botched procedures or sepsis ( OMG THE SCARRING from MRSA is hideous )….Liposuction rarely helps in an aesthetically pleasing way… uneven ridges & bumps between cannula insertions… rarely can a post op display her new six pack in the raw … dreams of string bikinis replaced with heavy duty full coverage spandex to flatted out the unsightly mess left by liposuction….
So not only is it life threatening, it’s unsightly … any further weight gain will exacerbate the ridges because the fat deposits accumulate in the remaining adipose tissue
Shock, DIC, sepsis, hemorrhage, thrombosis, local infection + potentially POOR OUTCOME = NOT WORTH THE RISKS!
If you do opt for cosmetics procedures, ( I’m not opposed & have partaken myself ), be sure to see a BOARD CERTIFIED Plastic Surgeon or Dermatologist for anything surface ( fillers, lasers, etc ).

If it slipped between the ribs, it only needs to puncture the diaphragm and there's just an empty space before it hits the lungs. The needle is very long.

My uncle is a very reputable plastic surgeon and for his young patients, specially the ones who need no work done, he obliges them to seek at least 6 months therapy and then decides based on the results of the mental evaluation from therapist before going ahead with any work. He says most of these unnecessary surgical demands are due to poor self-esteem. Therapy must be compulsory before surgery.

@@VictorFernandes-q9o The issue is that they are suffering from body dysmorphia which is a psychological imbalance so they need to treat that before ever considering modifying their bodies. Most of these people are perfect and do not need any work done, they just have very low self-esteem and hate the body they are in. All they need is proper therapy.

@@monavis2356 So true. I have been insecure about my teeth since I was 15 when my dentist told me I had a lovely smile but my teeth were a bit crooked. I didn't smile for photos and any time I saw my teeth I'd feel insecure. But I had always hated plastic surgery. The idea of looking in the mirror and not recognising myself freaked me out. I have to be careful when I do my makeup, because if I use a bit too much foundation I freak out.
I'm about to turn 29, so its been over a decade since I first got that insecurity. And in the last year my determination to accept my teeth finally won. First it was just being grateful for my teeth. They are healthy, they let me talk and they let me chew lots of food. And then I started thinking that their crookedness was actually a bit cute. I'm mischievous and chaotic, and my teeth reflect that in a way that makes me love my smile.
To change my teeth, I would damage perfectly healthy teeth, they are overcrowded so to make them fit neatly, they would have to grind them a little. Technically, not enough to cause issues, but it still means removing healthy tissue of a functioning body part for aesthetics. Once I started thinking of it like that, I realise how crazy an idea it ever was to want to change how I look.
Also just valuing more than beauty. I value beauty, but nowhere near as much as I like my brain and my personality.

Dear debbie giangradi: This sister really doesn't give a damn about saving anyone. She's just trying to rationalize why her sister made a series of bone headed decisions that led to her own death. Evita was a college educated woman who was capable of doing all the research on this doctor that her sister did after her death. So why didn't Evita do it herself ? Evita was responsible for her own decisions, so it's not ALL on this surgeon. IMO, the sister would've been smarter just to admit to herself and others what a Dummy Evita was to travel to a seedy Mexican border town to get surgery of ANY Kind and just go on with her life.

When I had surgery, my surgeon went to speak to my mother and showed her the results right after the procedure. He told her what he did in detail. When I woke up from the anesthesia, I was given everything I needed and nurses kept an eye on me in case I had pain. A day later, I was discharged. The surgeon came to see me at night and kept in touch with me. Things really went perfectly and I'm thankful. In the US Anesthesiologists are some of the highest paid doctors because it's nerve recking putting people under and ensuring they come through without causing physical damage or death plus also ensuring they receive enough so they don't wake up in the middle of surgery.

@@darkcontinentschild2962 Just to give you an idea... I live in the desert, it's hot here. It is pretty much the same as Phoenix, AZ. I do NOT skimp on A/C, I leave it on 24/7 due to my dogs. I keep my house cool in the summer. My electricity bill runs around 40-70 USD per month in the summer and about 10 USD in the winter. Tap water is $5 USD, drinking water is 6 USD to fill my 70 gallon drinking water tank. Propane for hot water is about $50 every 2 years. Usually that is much higher but I don't cook, that really is just for hot water.
Vet visits for my dogs... I just had a very sick beagle and for a biopsy, full bloodwork panel, exam, surgery to remove a thing from her eye,... it was $100 USD. Neuter for my Schnauzer was $35.00.
The pharmacies here (big pharmacies) have a doctor on site with a single exam room and a waiting room that would seat about 4 people... it's about $3 to see a doctor. You don't go to them for heart attacks, you would go to a hospital. But for bladder infections, colds, school physicals, etc., it's $3 to $5, usually closer to $3 USD. The doctors are often times women who stopped practicing medicine to raise their kids, so they work in these clinics for a few hours weekly to stay in the game. New medical school graduates also tend to work in these clinics for the extra cash. I have not used them often since my friends and previous employers are doctors here but the times I have used them or my friends, we have all had fantastic medical care. I certainly have no complaints.
My city is huge, massive. It's well over a million people. If I want to take a taxi from one side of the city to the other, it's about $12 during rush hour traffic.
Taco stands... a huge taco that honestly, I can only eat one but guys might be able to eat 3, perhaps, are usually about 1 or 2 USD each.
A housekeeper for the entire day (including meal prep) is about $10 USD, I pay double that, I pay $20/day. They work hard and deserve the money.
Minimum wage here is about $7 USD per DAY!
The pizza delivery guys know me well. If I order a pizza a college kid comes out here in the hot desert sun on a motorcycle so I tip well, usually 30%. If the pizza is $10 and I give them 3 USD, that is huge here. $7 daily is minimum wage, I tip $3... they remember. I happen to get fantastic service. ;o)

My grandfather passed away but he was considered a master in plastic surgery having invented techniques and trained many surgeons even around the world. He was offered a high ranking position at the Mayo Clinic and turned it down. They mainly specialize in burn victims and accident victims, also performed many cleft palate surgeries for poor children. There are great surgeons but also horrible, unscrupulous ones. This surgeon was promoted and advertised on the list by the Department of State Health even though he had a series of deaths and botched cases before Evita's death.
We analysed his CV which demonstrated that he was trained in army hospitals and public hospitals. Army and hospitals do not teach cosmetic surgeries. Not anywhere on the planet.
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training programs have zero evidence of formal lipo-injerto training or any other cosmetic surgeries. Zero 😢

This occurs in many cultures and demographics around the world, you'll find that those groups largely conform to the beauty standards set by their own society and/or influenced by other societies.
Body image and social media have direct links in how you perceive yourself based on exposure and content algorithms, even naming normal body shapes as "deformities" (i.e "hip dips" and "hip collapse", which is simply someone with their fat at the top of their thighs. It is NOT "hip collapse" but it is named that way to commercialize "fixing" yourself and make you see something wrong with your body). The media absolutely find new ways for women and girls to hate themselves because it is profitable.
There were 20 reviews published some short years back that found that photo-based activities (social media, media/magazines) contributed to the fostering of negative self image. This type of engagement is hard to remove yourself from as it's become the primary way in which the world engages with itself from politics to entertainment. I am a Nurse certified in wound care and I have experience with cosmetic surgery. For this horrific MD to have punctured her lungs 🫁 5 times with a lipo cannula my thoughts…1. Any experienced, cosmetic MD knows his angles and how deep to go in with the cosmetic instruments. 2. By this MD immediately covering up his extreme negligence after her death…Was he high on drugs, while operating? 3. To have punctured her lung five times clearly reflects he used the lipo catheter five times in the wrong angle. Instead of using the lipo catheter side ways to suction the fat under the breast to use that fat for the BBL he had to be operating in a rushed manner not taking his time to think of every time he inserted the catheter in the correct direction. He had to insert the lipo catheter in a 45 degree angle to puncture her lungs 5 times! I pray he is no longer operating.

I have no interest in cosmetic surgery but the issue is not cosmetic surgery, it's the rogue practitioners offering cheap procedures.

Yes poorly trained practitioners are of course problematic, but to suggest that cosmetic surgeries are riskless procedures in the hands of even experienced plastic surgeons is simply untrue. Also please note that a cosmetic surgeon may never have been trained in surgery...could be a new graduate. Plastic surgeons on the other hand have had years of specialist training - this is in Australia.

Cosmetic surgery are needed for people who are in extremely desperate situations where there is complete deformation, not for those who need psychiatric help. So this so called 'victim' asked for it and paid it with her life.

January 2023 and he’s still operating on people! Google him and leave reviews on anything you can to inform others of his malpractice!!! We need to spread the word to save others lives!!!
Edit: doing more research on him he also used Kim Kardashians photo to falsely advertise his services. She sued him in 2012.

@@kittycat1050So many people don't understand the level of corruption in Mexico. Since it's a US ally, it gets away with a lot when it comes to media attention and lack of pressure from other governments to clean itself up. It's a cesspool of corruption from the top to the bottom. If you have money to pay someone off, you can dodge anything.

My beautiful cousin died this way. In a hospital in the Dominican Republic. She died on the operating table, to a similar doctor. They also said she had a heart attack too. Her family knew it was a lie.

Thank goodness they're showing the doctor as his name! This needs to be shared to save people. I don't think anyone needs plastic surgery unless it's life saving but it's a personal choice. The fact she didn't tell her family shows she knew that they'd disapprove. So sad!

This is a farce, HE will not stop period! He just bribe the people in charge of his license and that is that. WE are the only one who could stop this by not seeing this surgeon/butcher//murderer anymore, so he will be out of clients. But that also will never happen. People are obsessed and will go to this surgeon playing russian roulette again.
