[NotITG] UKSRT9 - Dying Breath Of Stokesia

- This is the stage 4b of UKSRT9. It's a collab between Taro4012 and me & Kuut. As usually, Taro made the steps and Kuut made most of the fragment shaders.

This was just yes. Like... the BEST kind of yes.

Never before have I seen something so baffling and impressive simultaneously, and I feel like it matches Stage 5 if not surpasses it! The background choices were beautifully fitting, alongside the SCOLD glitch effects we got a taste of in 4a. The glitching ITG screen was an especially great touch. The HTTP "spell card" was a nice break, too.
The sections where the UI sections replaced the arrows was an impressive twist, and the reprise at the end was essentially the Music Game Hell section from lootus and that one section of UKSRT7's 4th stage, although...y'know, with more glitches.
But above all, the crowning jewel was the 3D section with the TV screens. Never before have I seen something so amazingly ridiculous, fitting the theme of the tournament perfectly!
Just...HOLY HELL THIS IS AMAZING! Pat yourself on the back!
P.S. I saw that Born to Die poster reference, you salty memes.

Yeah. It kind of does fit the theme of this stage. I might have added something like that to it if I thought of it earlier

The benefit of making a modchart with a glitch theme is that if it lags, you can't tell if it's part of the chart!

I love on how on half way, everything just messes up stuff and looks confusing, but the percentage and the proformance bar (is that what they're called?) And the arrows that your stepping on ARE the notes. And the the second to last part, the "move, I can't see the screen" VERY IRONIC... That would distract me if I was playing that irl. "Rich people tornado" is part of "move, I can't see the screen" why wouldn't be a mod mixed together, when your a awesome stepmania player.
Oh, my favorite part is that the game starts glitching out, but that is to distract people. Love it

How long did it take for you to code all of this, Puuro? All the effects and even the false lag at 0:40
I can't say for sure. I made it little by little over the span of couple months or so.
Kuut helped me a lot with making some of the shader effects you see there such as the jpeg compression and the glitch effects. Also he made the 3D models for the monitor room section. I made all the mod animations and camera stuff etc. Taro made the sprites for scold.
But yeah, I'd say it took about 2 months but I didn't work on it every day

This chart is literally garbage.
The steps used to be even harder and were toned down once the mods were put in place
I mean just look at it. JPG artifacts, vsync errors, framerate drops, and who knows how the sprites got swapped. I thought my monitor needed degaussing.
Yeah.. I think there's just something wrong with my computer or the stepmania build, I mean the whole thing just kind of shits itself. I shall try and delete my system32 folder to see if it fixes the issue
