Nice look-see, Danny. 👍🏼 I just bought a Montech SKY TWO GX (in black) and a HyperFlow 360 to put in it (plus a matching AX 120mm fan for the rear and a pair of RX 120's to mount on the bottom).
@@Chriselchingon23 The AX fans are *standard* flow fans; the blades spin counter-clockwise and air is drawn in from the front of the fan and pushed out of the back. (The back being the side of the fan where the struts are that attach the fan's frame to its hub.) The RX fans are *reverse* flow fans; the blades are reverse-angled so that, even though they spin counter-clockwise as well, the air is drawn in from the back of the fan and blown out of the front. They're designed this way so that they can be used to draw air _into_ a case (when mounted on the floor and/or the side of a chassis like the Sky Two or Sky Two GX, for example) *without* putting the 'ugly' back side of the fan on display.
Great video! Most detailed one I've seen on this case (especially the visuals). Question - I just had a new PC built with this case (I bought the parts and paid a local PC repair shop to assemble it), and the fans are lighting up but not spinning at all. Any guesses as to why that is and where I should look to fix it? I'm trying to avoid taking it back to the shop if that's possible.
I would follow the fans to see if they are plugged in. Then check to see if the hub is connected to your motherboard. Lastly, you’ll want to enter your motherboard BIOS and verify the fan curve for that header is not set to zero RPM when there is no heat from the monitor source.
@@DannysTechChannel Thanks for your response. It turns out I'm an idiot. The fans were indeed spinning but I saw the fan cages through the mesh and mistook them for the blades...
Thanks for review. I bought this case based on a build recommendation i am following. You are only one i found actually showing off the case. Does anyone make aftermarket way to control rgb from the case?
You’re welcome. There is some ARGB controllers on Amazon but I haven’t seen any that can wire to a button on your case. Your motherboard doesn’t have a 5V addressable RGB header?
Great review
brilliant as always mate

Nice. What a wild coincidence! I’ll be doing a hyperflow review video soon too. Let me know if you like it
What's the difference between ax and rx
AX is standard pull flow and RX is reverse flow
@@DannysTechChannel so ax is for exhaust?

It would be so helpful how to maximize air flow for this case
Very great video, you desurve much more subs.

No worries. Glad everything’s working well

Best case out there 🎉
Indeed a great case @ good price.
I was so shocked when I checked the price. Thought it would give the review portion more genuine results just based on features and ease of use.
Do you know if a Noctua NH-D15 G2 will fit this case?
I don’t know. I would suggest checking the high of the cooler and the max height the case allows for air coolers.
Good Review !!!👍👍👍
Thanks! 👊
@@DannysTechChannelDo you know if a Noctua NH-D15 G2 will fit this case?
No. You might want to check Montech’s website and Noctua’s for clearances.
Is it available in other countries like India?
i wish montech had greater presence in EU
So do I!
What? No comments here? Let's fix that.
